Red Rock Resale Group

BUYER BEWARE!!! This business is a total scam!!! The only guy who answers the phone is a guy called [redacted]. He called me offering me $26,000 to buy out my timeshare, which is double what I paid for it (too good to be true, right)? RIGHT!! I called him back and forth several times (he always answered, even though I called the office). We negotiated a contract for the buy out, but then I discovered that he wanted a fee and wanted me to pay taxes to Mexico on the sale (which is ridiculous, since this is a US transaction). I was suspicious and did some digging. I asked him why they weren't a member of the Revdex.com and he said that that organization didn't treat businesses fairly, which is crock. I also called the realty group of the building where their office is located and talked to the realtor and the Suite they have on their address is totally empty and not being used! As soon as I told [redacted] that I would not pay a penny up front, he never called me again!! Shocking!! SCAM!! Do NOT do business with Red Rock Resale Group in Phoenix, AZ.

Obviously the latest scam! They contacted us to offer to buy/resell our timeshare in Mexico. They did not advise us that ANY fees would need to be paid upfront until we were almost ready to go thru with it. Then they said the Mexican government requires 6% of the selling cost be paid BEFORE they could release the funds to us. NOT TRUE! I verified thru other sources that they never require any SAT, VAT or any kind of tax and if some company tells us that, they are lying. It's the latest scam to get you to send thousands of dollars via wire transfer to a bank in Mexico City! The suite they reference on their paperwork does not even exist in Phoenix AZ! Do not do business with these people. Or ANYONE that tells you that a tax or fee must be paid FIRST!
