Review: This hotel was a complete disgrace with broken toilet handle broken towel racks under loud construction outside of our room door drug distribution and transactions outside of our room door cigarette smoke and weed smoke coming through our bathroom vent that my kids and wife with asthma was inhaling.No fresh linen, no bucket for the ice and front desk says they don't know what to tell me and they won't have a manager on site for another two days.Desired Settlement: Refund of our stay

Company states: We spoke with the consumer when they told us about the issues. There were two adults and kids in the room. We did waive extra charges for about seven days since they reserved one adult. They were happy with the resolution that we were giving at that time which was not charging for the second adult. If there is a continual issue then why did they not bring this to our attention while they were here. This was also booked [redacted] or [redacted] which a refund would need to be addressed with them.

Review: I checked into Red Roof Inn Jan. 18th, 2016 around 4 pm. when I got into my room there was mascara on the pillow cases, human hair in the bath tub, and dried lettuce in the sheets. I wanted to leave as soon as I got into the room. This tells me that the last person who stayed in the room I was in, basically never left. What ever germs, bodily fluids, or mess from the last person or person(s) was still there making a very unpleasant stay for me and a very un-sanitary room.

When I was checking out a few hours later on Jan. 18th, 2016 around 8 or 9 pm the front desk associate was fine with me leaving and told me she would refund me all my money. I was smart and made sure I got a receipt that reflected just that.

My account available after checking in was deducted $230.08. When I checked out I understood that the money was put on hold and would have to release its self after a few business days. However I still have not received a statement claiming they have given the money back.

I called my bank today and it is Feb. 4th, 2016. They see where the money has been released but the $230.08 has not replenished itself back onto my account.

I have called the hotel several times requesting where the money has gone but each time I am put on hold and transferred between departments. I have even taken this to the corporate level. Each individual handling my refund has not been helpful and has given me the run around. When I have requested the where abouts of my money they turn around an blame my bank for not accepting the hold. Again I talked to my bank and my statements do not reflect a credited amount of $230.08 (two hundred thirty dollars and eight cents.)

My bank statements also do not reflect the money magically going back into my account. It has been over two weeks and still I have not received any money.

I strongly advise that no one stay here for sanitation reasons and the unfriendly-ness of the staff when things go wrong or when the customer has a problem.Desired Settlement: I want my money back as soon as possible. It was happily taken but it has been a hassle trying to get it back.

Hello,The card ending in [redacted] was charged for $230.08 on 1/18/2016. The same day we refunded the card ending in [redacted] for $230.08. The same day we went to our payment site and voided both transactions. I spoke with the guest, it looks like there seems to be an issue on the bank side not the hotel side. Guest is going to call the bank. I've attached the folio which shows the card is charged and refunded the same day. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I paid for a homeless woman to stay at the hotel on 09/24 and 09/25/13. Somehow she broke a window in her room. I offered to get 2 estimates but manager said they use only [redacted] in W. Sacramento and the charge is $256. for a 22x48" window. The original glass was not tempered. Every week for the next month I asked for a copy of the bill and mgr said he didn't have it yet. About 2 weeks ago he said he had the bill, but I COULD NOT HAVE A COPY because I was not the victim. I said if I had to PAY I had a RIGHT TO SEE THE BILL. I called [redacted]) and owner said the hotel mgr TOLD him NO TO GIVE ME A COPY OF THE BILL> (WHY NOT?)Also I was charged $150.00 for the woman supposedly SMOKING in a non-smoking room. My credit card was charged before I even knew about the incident.Desired Settlement: I feel both businesses are guilty of unethical and maybe even illegal practices. The hotel should not make a PROFIT from these damages and these charges should be investigated to see if reasonable or ACTUAL EXPENSE. Also hotel should be FINED for not allowing me to have a copy of the bill.

Review: I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn and asked to hold the room with my credit card and then not to charge it as I would be paying cash for the room. When I checked out I paid cash and have the receipt the clerk took the cash and still charged the card 287.45. I went back and they stated they would refund my credit card for the charges,they have not refunded the card and there are no pending payment as they suggested would happen. My stay there was from June 22nd to June 27th and the credit card statement states they charged it on June 28th. there are no pending credits to the credit card from Red Roof Inn, I request my money back ASAP. Again I have all the receipts that I paid cash and the credit card statement that shows the charges.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund of 287.45

Attached please find the receipt which shows the refund and the cash payment. Refund takes up to 14 business days to be seen on guest's bank account / statement. Guest is aware of it and only $250 was paid cash. As he is stating that he has a receipt, that same receipt shows that refund was made on the same day for $250.00!
