Also, a voucher was sent via mail for a free night at any Red Roof Inn nationwide. The guest was in agreement and accepted this resolution.Consumer Response I have yet to received the voucher so the agreement is now void when that was his suggestion I rather refund since I had do bad customer service experience with [redacted] customer service and GM mr [redacted] really wasn't much empathy apologetic. At all he was like I give you this certificate except or nothing I not satisfied let thus stay on record Final Business Response Yes, the guest was initially checked into a dirty room - which was due to a technical issue with our system that was impacted by a power surge/lightning strike (the basics of this was conveyed to the guest by GM). The guest accepted and occupied an additional room, therefore a refund is not warranted. The guest had the opportunity to decline the room, if considered unacceptable. The guest checked out on 8-17 - the GM discussed the matter with the guest on 8-19 and as a good faith gesture a free night voucher was to be issued - as agreed by both parties the VIP pass was to be mailed out to the address and contact information provided by the guest - the GM is 100% confident that the pass was mailed on 8-20, (contacting Revdex.com on 8-22 would not have allowed adequate time to receive free night pass) therefore the matter is considered closed and resolved.
