Red Rooster Sports Bar & Grill

I found this restaurant on Groupon $15 for $30 worth of food. When we walked up to the door, there was a sign that stated masks must be worn. We walked in and saw only 1 staff member wear a mask. We should of just turned around there, but hoped it would get better, so we stayed. A woman standing at the bar (who was wearing a mask to her chin) walked up to us. I assumed that she was a manager. The music was EXTREMELY LOUD so she had to come very close to my face (she was unmasked) so I could hear her. She invited us to find a table and she'd send a waitress over. None of the tables had signs on them to enforce social distancing. The table was sticky, which may be an indication that the tables are not be properly sanitized. Our waitress was nice, but did not have on a mask, not even to her chin. She didn't even try to fake it! Again, the music was very loud so the unmasked waitress had to bend down on the table so I could hear her better. She got so close to my face that I backed up. I guess she sensed that I was uncomfortable because she immediately stood up. She took our orders. I looked around and even the cook was not wearing a mask! Several people walked in, straight to the bar, and were not wearing a mask and this seemed normal to management.

The bill came to $27 plus tax, she credited us $15, and I still owed $14! I thought to myself, "I should not owe this much!" But we were just so ready to go, I didn't even investigate as much as I normally would. I gave her my card, tipped her, and we ran out of the door! As I think about it, I know exactly what happened: Remember, the Groupon was for $15 for $30 worth of food. The bill came to $27 plus tax, but she did not include our drinks. The fine print on the Groupon reads "Not valid on alcohol." It says nothing about tea or soft drinks. If she would've included the drinks, the bill would've come to $30 and change and I would've had owed just tax, or maybe just a smidge more. The waitress only took off $15 so they would break even. RED ROOSTER IS RUNNING A SCHEME! The waitress knew EXACTLY what she was doing and was probably told to do that from management. They are not in compliance with COVID-19 protection standards and are stealing money from supportive customers.
