Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Red Silo Studios contradict themselves.  How can they produce time stamped recordings when they claimed to have lost the scratch tracks due to a computer crash.  Red Silo Studios took advantage of a customer.  I am an honest man and [redacted] knows we only spent a little over an hour on the project he agreed on.  There is no reason why I should not get a refund.  This is theft.

be rendered at a time agreed upon by both parties. We had reached an agreement on the time frame of when this project could be completed at the proposed discounted rate. When due to his personal circumstances Mr. [redacted] failed to show up for his initial booking, or to reschedule within many months of the initial window we had available for him, he forfeigted that time. We offered additional time as a concession but have exhausted what we are able to offer at this time. We cannot be expected to perform services at a discounted rate that was specifically priced with the slower months of the year in mind, many months later. To make matters worse, Mr. [redacted] took things into sordid territory with the contents of his email, creating what would surely be a toxic environment if we were to try to work together. This is creative work, and we do not perform it with hostile clients who make demands as to concessions, and then become insulting over the matter. As to the lost data Mr. [redacted] has mentioned, beyond the proposed time frame we were to work together, it is not a studio's responsibility to archive data. For these reasons we have communicated to him that the studio's obligation for this balance has been fulfilled. He has now been billed at full market rate for the time already spent on development and recording thus far, which exceeds the amount paid. We recommended via email that the complainant pursue this legally if they feel they have a case, as we would be happy to prove otherwise in a court of law.Sincerely,ManagementRed Silo Studios    You paid, in small installments, for a heavily discounted package deal that was contingent on you showing up for tracking during the window I had originally specified. Session performance on guitar, bass, or drums is also an additional $60 per source. This would get you ten or so hours of tracking at a maximum, if you were to handle all performance. My availability is limited, and the schedule is often times backlogged by a number of weeks, so the tracking would have to take place at a time that I would specify, the soonest being mid May. Sincerely,[redacted]Red Silo StudiosYou paid, in small installments, for a heavily discounted package deal that was contingent on you showing up for tracking during the window I had originally specified. We would suggest that Mr. [redacted] read all of our responses more carefully. Regardless of when he "wanted the project completed" by, he lost his window in our schedule when he became unavailable for months at a time. Also, contrary to Mr. [redacted]'s statements, onsiderably more than one hour and fifteen minutes was spent in further development and tracking on this project.
We hereby exit these proceedings.
Mr. [redacted]; it seems we have a fundamental disconnect when it comes to how creative services are purchased from a capacity based business. Let us be perfectly clear: You will receive no further response from Red Silo Studios, regardless of the medium of contact. We will again state that if you feel you have actual legal grounds to sue for damages, you should do so. We will gladly provide documentation and time stamped pro tools session backup logs to show that time spent tracking and development not only met but exceeded the existing balance at market rate, which we defaulted to after your initial lengthy absence. We cannot be expected to archive the accompanying audio files for many months past the initial time intended for tracking. Regardless of the concessions Mr. Kemkaran may have attempted to extend to you, these are the facts- and in a court of law we would gladly present them.
