In response to the complaint, our number one priority is the safety of our preschoolersIn our contract, it asks parents to check a box to give permission for photos to be used for publicityThere isn't an option to give or deny permission of photos being taken in genralWe did respect her wishes and did not use photos with her child in them, she received the photos and no one else even viewed them, in our text message photos, she relied "cute" and did not seem bothered or uncomfortableOur preschool BBQ was a family friendly celebration after school hoursWhile I cannot recall a conversation about beer or any beverage at the event, there was no alcohol provided to parents or staff, nor did anyone bring their own alcohol to the BBQIf the conversation [redacted] heard did occur, there were still no rules broken, nor would there have been if families ended up bringing a beverage of their choice When a child is in endangering himself or another child, we have to disallow itWhen their behavior becomes physicaly out of control and we have to hold them back from an unsafe situation, i.eRunning out the door, slamming furniture and doors, running out the gate to the road, cursing and screaming vulgar language in class, refusing to wear clothing in class, etc, we have to send them homeWe do not physicaly restrain children and I explained that to this motherIf we are unable to keep a child safe with communication and redirection, they have to be sent home because we can't restrain them until the behavior is resolvedAs far as requesting a refund, these are clearly issues this person has had for months and has not addressed them with usWe gave a day termination notice to her in the middle of June, that stated she was responsible for her copayment (the amount her DHS assistance doesn't cover) and she signed it, but her complaints are about instances from before this dayShe continued to use our services and didn't mention dissatisfaction until thisIf her complaints are as serious as she claims, then why would she contine to have her son in our program for months while feeling this wayThese are services rendered, her son attended our program until July 13thin our program children and well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthyin years we've never had a parent make such accusationsI believe she is upset that we terminated care and inconvenienced her multiple times by requiring g her to pick her son up early

wishes and did not use photos with her child in them, she received the photos and no one else even viewed them, in our text message photos, she relied "cute" and did not seem bothered or uncomfortable. Our preschool BBQ was a family friendly celebration after school hours. While I cannot recall a conversation about beer or any beverage at the event, there was no alcohol provided to parents or staff, nor did anyone bring their own alcohol to the BBQ. If the conversation [redacted] heard did occur, there were still no rules broken, nor would there have been if families ended up bringing a beverage of their choice.  When a child is in  endangering  himself or another child, we have to disallow it. When their behavior becomes physicaly out of control and we have to hold them back from an unsafe situation, i.e. Running out the door, slamming furniture and doors, running out the gate to the road, cursing and screaming vulgar language in class, refusing to wear clothing in class, etc, we have to send them home. We do not physicaly restrain children and I explained that to this mother. If we are unable to keep a child safe with communication and redirection, they have to be sent home because we can't restrain them until the behavior is resolved. As far as requesting a refund, these are clearly issues this person has had for months and has not addressed them with us. We gave a 30 day termination notice to her in the middle of June, that stated she was responsible for her copayment (the amount her DHS assistance doesn't cover) and she signed it, but her complaints are about instances from before this day. She continued to use our services and didn't mention dissatisfaction until this. If her complaints are as serious as she claims, then why would she contine to have her son in our program for months while feeling this way. These are services rendered, her son attended our program until July 13th. in our program children and well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy. in 10 years we've never had a parent make such accusations. I believe she is upset that we terminated care and inconvenienced her multiple times by requiring g her to pick her son up early.
