Red & White Appliance Service Reviews (3)

There was a brief period in September (10 days) when I did not return the customers phone calls in a timely manner, for that I have apologized to [redacted]. The following is the record of the calls we received and the service calls we performed to repair the unit.
12-11-15    ...

Sold Scotsman Ice Maker to [redacted] to replace her old unit                                  6-24-16   Still low ice, replaced spray curtain and reroute drain hose3-30-16          Customer called to complain of low ice production and mold on gasket                        7-20-16   Still low ice, adjust cube size, clean condenser
4-11-16          Checked unit, and adjusted the cube size control                                                       9-7-16     Customer called wanting new unit
4-16-16          Still low ice, picked up for shop repair                                                                      9-17-16     Left message for customer to call me back
6-8-16            Delivered unit, it had filled the bin in 48 hours each time it  was emptied                     9-22-16    Spoke to customer, told her we would exchange unit
As you can see from the above timeline, we did not ignore the customers complaints for 9 months, the unit works fine in the shop, but we were unable to find a reason that it has low ice production in her home.  As stated above, we are exchanging the unit at no charge to the customer, this will be done within the next two weeks, as soon as we receive the replacement unit.

After moving my washing machine with a furniture mover for remodeling the floor purposes, when putting it back it leaked.

I contacted Red & White Appliance Service and they were very prompt.

After arriving he had problems finding the problem which included taking basically the machine apart removing the aggitor , springs holding the tub, and lifting the tub up and down multiple times, with no results.

Then he said he had heard of such a problem before, put the machine all together, tilted the machine until I heard a burping sound, he said was air or water under the tub, I can not understand with the number of times he lifted the tub up and down, but the machine stopped leaking. Great.

I pay him, he leaves, and later my wife starts a load and the spin cycle is louder but we let it go, maybe too long.

Called them back and he said it was a bad bearing and I asked could that have been from lifting the tub up and down multiple times. I got a response that it was not his fault and he did not lift the tub up multiple times and asked questions of did I do this or that of which I responded accordingly.

With disbelief he finally said he would call the manufacturer and get back with me.

After over a week I called and was told the front girl would tell him I called. After many days with no response and 1-2 more phone calls I called the manufacturer myself to get a repair person they recommend and found out he never made such a phone call and has yet to call me with an estimate to fix the problem.

In 3 days the other company is to come, call the manufacturer from my house and I hope, one way or the other, my washing machine will work quietly.
