To Whom It May Concern,
In regards to [redacted] motorcycle repair. They brought a bike in for repair and it turned out that the fuel pump was bad. The new part was backordered from Victory and we could not find a new one at any other...
dealers. After talking with the customer they decided to have it rebuilt. The price on a new pump was 639.99 The company that rebuilt it charged us $375.00 which I charged Greg. There were additional parts needed to complete the job. One of those parts the cust chose to get from another dealer.(The part could have been shipped down next day but the cust decided to pick it up. The labor for this job was
the same from day one. They saved $264.00 on the rebuilt fuel pump. Lastly the bike came in to our shop with 175 miles on it. It left with 188 miles on it. We test drove the bike after the fuel pump was installed where we put on 13 miles. The bike had the same amount of fuel in it that it came in with.
