7/18/The Comment below was sent in back in February and was retracted by me after speaking to MrB*** with Red's Heating and CoolingAfter waiting months for the agreement we agreed to and not receiving the agreement, I am asking that the comment be added back so that others can see what I went throughI have also had another rwith MrB*** when I asked for the agreement and why I hadn't heard anything from his companyMrB*** was again rude and tried to send me an agreement that wasn't what we agreed tooAfter talking to MrB*** and unsuccessfully coming to an agreement, I have since decided not make contact with this company again and to go elsewhereMrB*** is very unprofessionalI am having this business looked into by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance

We called Red's Heating and Cooling on February to check out our unit we bought from them years agoThey did not have the part (ignitor switch) and would need to come backThey would call us when they had the partWe received no call backThe temperature was degrees outside
On Saturday, February we called them around am and they said they were getting the part and would call us and let us know when they would be at our houseWe waiting around until about 1pm and had to run to get groceries and another heaterWe returned home around pm and we didn't see any notes on our door to say they had been thereWe waited around until 8:30pm that night to find out what was going onThat's when we found outThey had in fact come out to fix the unit but didn't tell usWe must have been at the store when they came by
To say I was mad is an understatement! It was below freezing outside and we weren't aware that our heat was fixed?! I have children and pets not to mention we were cold too
I asked the name of the person I was speaking to and his said StephenI asked him how much the bill would be and if we would be mailed the billStephen said $for the service fee and laborThen he said he would need to come back out on MondayWhen I asked him how much I would be charged for the service on Saturday and would I again be charged for MondayHis response was his person had to run out to Nashville and get the partWhen I asked why that wouldn't be included in the price he got madStephen said again, we will have to come back out Monday and replace the part with the one we orderedThis is the same partI was confused so I asked why he couldn't put the one he ordered back on his unit he took the part off of to give to usHe was mad that I asked because I think he wanted to charge us again for work that wasn't needed!
Yes, I was mad about the whole situation and asked him even though the unit still had a warranty could I just go with someone else? He said yesI told him from now on, I would go elsewhereHe again got mad and screamed "I will come back out there and get that part tomorrow," (Sunday, February 14)I told him "no you won't, and if you do, I will have Channel out here too"At this point I asked who his boss was because I was so mad and frustratedHe didn't answer at first, and then I said againWho is your boss or the owner of the company? He said "my wife"I said so "you're the owner and this is how you treat people?"
At that point he asked to speak to my husband and told him that the cost would be $instead of $125, I was good with thatMy husband talked to him for a few more minutes and then hung upI was still fuming We received another call around minutes later and it was Stephen who told us it would be "no charge." He was also sorry for the way he acted
Folks, I will never use this company again as there was too many shady things going on and I will never let anyone try to bully me into paying for things I shouldn't be charged for
