Redbox Movie Reviews Missing
I have been a long-time Redbox customer, all the way back to the disc mailing days.
It seems that Redbox has decided to remove the customer reviews from the movie description listings (online and kiosk). I would like to express my very strong dissatisfaction with that decision. The service was very valuable to me and without it I'm not comfortable renting movies from your company.
Therefore, I will no longer be renting movies from Redbox.

What the customer said is exactly what happened. They brought in a tablet with a broken screen and several attempts to repair it were unsuccessfulTold customer we had a new tablet that we would replace it with for the same price as the repairI did this since it is unknown whether my tech caused motherboard issue or was part of original damageThis was done in good faithNew tablet was in my Farmington store which I offered to bring to Albuquerque over the weekendCustomer became upset wanting full refundHe was given refundI tried to fix broken tablet, unable to fix and possibly caused further damageOffered to completely replace tablet for same money in good faith and customer rejected? What more can I possibly do? I’m not giving him a tablet for free, he has to at least pay the cost of the original repair

I am at a loss to understand what more we can doThe customer has been given a full refund so is out no moneyI offered to replace the tablet st the same cost as screen repairI will not give him a new tablet for free

I am rejecting this response because:It be seems like the business if taking responsibility for an unresponsive tablet. If after the first new set of screens checked out per the QA the business performs and they warranty parts and labor and then when we pick it up and the tablet is not responsive then one can only surmise the business caused the damage. If after they try again to fix their error and damage it further then in good faith we expect the business to make it right with no additional cost. How can someone trust that the business was going to provide a same or new or similar tablet in good faith for the same cost if the business cannot in good faith say they caused the additional tablet. This means the business is not is advertising on their web site about being repair experts. We have a tablet that was responding with a broken screen when we brought it in and now we have a non responsive tablet with a broken screen and a business that is not really working in good faith to make this right for the customer.

Customer brought in phone that would not turn on and had a cracked screenIn order to diagnose the device it had to be opened so the battery could be disconnected and all connections checkedThis is the standard way to diagnose why the phone would not turn onCould be bad screen since it was
already cracked, bad battery, bad charge port or many other problemsOn an iPhone the screen has to be lifted to gain access to the interior of the phone so these components can be checkedI personally did this and lifted the screenI disconnected and reconnected all the connections and the unit started workingI advised the customer the problem was most likely a bad connection and that it was working now but the battery was dead and it needed to be chargedI did this all free of charge and gave her a working deviceShe thanked me and took the phone and leftShe returned and said her screen was now cracked worseI advised her that her screen was cracked when she came in and that it's possible the cracks are worse now but that can not be helpedI advised her that is the nature of glass and all those cracks were going to get worse as time went onI also gave her the price for a new screenShe then left. Her father then came in very upset stating that he wasn't paying for this and wanted something doneI explained all this to himHe screamed he wasn't paying for this again and stormed out of the store throwing the door open damaging my wall in the process. Here are my points:Customers phone screen was broken when it came in.Customers phone was not working when it came in.I fixed customers phone and gave her a working phone free of chargeIt was not just dead it would not do anything when it came in period. I gave them a price to fix the screen that they broke. it is certainly possible some if the cracks in the screen ran further across the screen from what I did but that's the nature of glassAny crack will continue to grow till it gets to the edge just like any windshield in any vehicle for example. I already did these people a good service and they are trying to take advantage and cost me more time and money to replace their screen for freeCell Doctors is not responsible for their broken screen

I am at a loss to understand what more we can do. The customer has been given a full refund so is out no money. I offered to replace the tablet st the same cost as screen repair. I will not give him a new tablet for free.

[redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the response. If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered] I am rejection such response because I will not tolerate any business taking advantage of a young customers whom they can easily manipulate into extra charges. They broke the screen then wants us to pay him to fix it? Not very experienced phone techs if they have to brake the phone to work on it? Shut the doors if not profitable don't rip people off. No idea what happened to door?I will proceed foward with legal action along with my complaint with the state and corporation commission.Thank you
