Dear Sir/Madam: In response to [redacted] ’s complaint, it is regrettable that he is having mechanical issuesUnfortunately the year old vehicle was sold ‘as is’ and that fact was clearly stated on the contract, which he signed in several areasHowever, we will agree to help him have the necessary repair made and only charge him our in-house cost for parts and laborMr [redacted] will need to make arrangements to bring the vehicle to our repair shop so we may give him an estimateHe can contact our Shop Manager, ***, at [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] Owner

As our phone conversion on Friday the 3rd of April about the complain that [redacted] filed against Redding Auto & Truck Sales I will try to answer as best as I can1st the numbers are well above the point of reality the cost is more than ***es the cost that would have been done at our garage2nd although Mr [redacted] purchased the truck and was explained his rights as a buyer and signed those documents according to the laws of Californiahe was offered to have his truck repaired for several thousands lessHe refused to have that done taken it to his own trusted garage which charged him in excess of over $2,over the cost from what ford charges for the parts that he replaced for the exhaust parts onlyAlso twice the labor rate I charge my customersI'm not sure what his thinking on this wasNow since he wants reimbursed the money he wasted by paying twice more than our repair shop would have charged without giving the opportunity to try and work with himThere was no deception or anything mesleading about the condition at ***e of sale on this truck and that all paper work was filled out dated and sign by Mr [redacted] If we would have did his repairs on the subject of what he described was the problem we could have helped him but after the fact and the high amount he was charged unfortunatly we have no obligation in this

I am rejecting this response because: Now that I have contacted the Revdex.com, they want to work with me My truck was down for over months During this time, I lost a job as not having a means of transportation, I called numerous times to get help from them, including asking them to work on my vehicle and received no response I left numerous messages for them and the owner to call me back AND NO ONE WOULD RETURN A CALL

I have handed this matter over to my lawyer.
We took the truck in they wouldn't fix itTold us to drive itWe took it to our mechanic Who to our knowledge isn't over priceing people or being investigated .
I will let the courts decide if he's a crook or not.
Doing my own research He's been investigated beforeNeed I say more.

This letter is in regards to Redding Auto and Truck; I am very dissapointed that this has gone thus but with all do respect I dont believe that the employee that who responded to this even knows the details of this situationClearly this message was from beginning to endLets all pretend that dmvhad made a mistake, that is the very least of my problems of this entire ordeal at least I know that that can still easily be fixedNow, in regards to my phone number and address the dmv is fully aware of my address considering I have been into the dmv multiple times regarding my license plates and registration and each time they have told me that the dealership that I bought it from handles all the paperwork and that they are responseable for platesI went directly to the dealership and they said first that "i should be receiving the plates in the mail within months" within about months or so I went back and asked several times before the three months was up and they kept saying that I should be getting them in the mailAfter the three moths was up I went back in there and then they want to tell me that it has passed the days and that the dmv had lost the paperwork on the vehicle and now I had to deal with it myselfFrom September 2, until April 24, I have had major issues with this Gmc Sierra and have not received call from the dealershipI have researched that they have recalled this exact VIN NUMBER # *** GM Sierra 4xTruckI have contacted their service repair shop and left my truck with Mike at Redding Auto and Truck Repair for about three weeks only for them to diagnose it and tell me that they have all the parts and will fix everything with the abs lights for some $Within those three weeks I did not receive not even one call from the repair shop nor the dealership so I called their and Mike told me that he was waiting on the ok from me to say it was ok to repair the vehicle for a repair chargeI had to sign a release of liability to the repair shop to release the vehicle and tow it to my house after all they did was diagnose itNow I replaced the diervers side hub assebley in the front because of the damage $for thatThey should just refund my money or get me another truck that doesnt have so many problems after all I payed $for a truck with all these problems listed below:
*NO HEATER
* NO EMERGENCY BREAKE
* NO SPARE TIRE
* THEY SOLD IT TO ME WITH THE ABS LIGHTS ON
* NO LICENSE PLATES
* BOTH FRONT HUB ASSEMBLEY'S EXTREMELY WORN OUT ALONG WITH SUSPENSION AND STEERING COMPNITS

Review: I bought a 1999 GMC sierra truck back in Sept. 2014. Apon the test drive I noticed the ABS lights were on. I talked with the owner of the dealership ([redacted] - and Salesman [redacted]) about the problem. They promised to fix the ABS problem within 30 days of the purchase. It never happend. They just kept giving me the run-around. Come back in a week or so they would say. Also I never received my license plates and it's been six months The dealership blames the DMV and the DMV blames the delaership. Also no spare tire came with the truck.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to fix the originial problems with the ABS. It would be nice to get my Lic. Plates for the truck.

We did the DMV on this vehicle. The DMV shows that they sent all the information needed. Evidently, he has moved. He did not notify the DMV. Their is nothing we can do about it. Within those three weeks I did not receive not even one call from the repair shop nor the dealership so I called their and Mike told me that he was waiting on the ok from me to say it was ok to repair the vehicle for a repair charge. Now I replaced the diervers side hub assebley in the front because of the damage $120 for that. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.. I've boughten 3 trucks in 4 years from them . My first 2 had some issues and I just took care of them. I bought a 2010 chevy and after 2200 miles I heard a slight noise coming from the engine , I sent a message to the manager at the lot and never heard back ,so I took it to a couple different shops and chevy dealership and found out it's inside the engine , I went in to the lot talk to them and the manager told me to call his manager at the repair shop and talk to him . Well I did and never heard back so I called him back and was told that he would get back to me but he would have to charge me to fix it but would shave off $10 an hour off labor and he would get back to me with quote , never called me back and never returned my calls . I took it to a mechanic and had it tore down and found cam and lifters bad with metal shavings in motor , I can't afford to fix it and have no truck and it's been 4 months and they won't help out , you would think after $90,000 in trucks in 4 years and a lot of referrals and only driving it 2200 miles they would help , but no . Never will I buy from them again , horrible

Review: I purchased my truck In June 2015 ([redacted] F250 Crew cab Diesel) Upon speaking to the manager he informed me the truck had been gone through by their mechanics and was a sound truck. I test drove the vehicle and all appeared well. due to the tires being almost worn out, I asked if I could get a set of tires added into my loan as I was going to use this as my work truck. The manager ([redacted]) said I will hook you up and put a set of rims and tires in the truck. The 2 tires on top seemed great. Once I got home the 2 tires on the bottom were below the wear bars and are unsafe to use. On my ride home there was a shake at about 60-65 mph and going uphill it seemed like the vehicle was struggling getting any fuel. I tried calling the office and no one returned my phone call. Then my check engine light comes on. To my surprise there was 6 codes stored in the computer that had not been cleared out, ranging from sensors to EGR related issues. My question comes if their mechanic actually checked the truck how come the codes weren't cleared or handled. Then the #5 injector went out. I again called the dealer to find out if they would do the work if I payed for the parts and replaced with [redacted] parts. Still no return call. I have called and asked to speak to the owner on numerous occasions with no return call. The u joints were bad in the front end, the front drive line had to be replaced, the FICM had to be replaced, the steering stabilizer was bad. The check engine light continues to come on with injector related issues and there are numerous oil leaks. The truck now sits as I cannot drive it as I dont want to mess anything else up. It appears that through [redacted] and the Revdex.com this business needs to be looked into and gone through with a fine tooth comb. I even explained to the manager ([redacted]) that I wanted them to take the truck off my hands and put the $4,000 I put down put on another truck and he would not even respond to that.Desired Settlement: All I want is a truck that drives so I can get to work and run my kids around due to living in the mountains . If they would take this truck back, I would have no problem getting another truck from them, I just feel with them not returning my calls or even trying to work with me they new something was wrong with this truck.

Review: Bought a truck less than 24hrs check engine light came on took it back they cleared the codes told us to drive until it came on again . The first reading showed catalytic converter. That scared us . We went got our truck,there was other things they were supposed to fix,we didn't let them. Took it to our mechinc.he confirmed the cats needed to be replaced. While waiting for the cats to show up from ford. We bought tires and were told the ball joints were bad. Took it to a front end shop . They confirmed that they were 1/4in past 1/16 tolance. This truck was not road safe and they had to know itDesired Settlement: Would like to be reimbursed 7000$ for repairs
