I am rejecting this response because: We were suppose to receive an estimate for said repairsWhich we didn'tThe repair was to take place in two separate jobs as promised by the service manager Mark Felch Work that was never completed and had to be repaired by another shopWe've already supplied documentation for all of this

The response from the customer is without any factual basis.  The owner had his driver bring the vehicle to our shop to have it repaired.Attached is the service order signed by his driver authorizing the work to be done.  There are also notes on the service order indicatingthat the driver was apprised of the problems and him approving the repairs.  As stated before, we considered the vehicle unsafe to operate on the public roadways.  The spring hanger was broken completely off the frame. We were asked to diagnose and repair the front and rear suspension, emergency brake cylinder and an engine oil leak.  The repairs done by the"other shop" involved the brake pads, an oil leak from the transmission and a loss of power.  None of these problems were caused by us nor didthe owner ask us to address them. This is a commercial vehicle and a written estimate is not required to be given prior to the commencement of work as is the case witha passenger vehicle. As it stands now, we will be pursue further remedies for non payment with the courts.

rear suspension spring hangers were broken and the springs were wearing into the housing. The owners driver checked on the vehicle daily and was informed of everything. We advised the driver that in our opinion the vehicle was unsafe to drive in its current condition and he gave us permission to order the necessary parts to repair the vehicle. We released the vehicle to the driver when the repairs were complete on November 24, 2015. After repeated attempt to contact the owner regarding the bill, we finally received a return call on or about March 25, 2016 where he was now disputing the bill. To date we have not received any form of payment for the service performed.

I am rejecting this response because: The driver wasn't authorized to ok any repairs for this vehicle. Several calls were made to the service manager [redacted] by [redacted] the owner that went unanswered. The oil leak was never fixed, Repairs were performed that weren't authorized. A estimate was never given which was supposed to take place before any repairs. Repairs that were done caused other issues with the unit that had to be repaired by another shop. I'm sure their people haven't even called to inquire about this part of the claim. Lastly, the repair was supposed to take place in 2 stages per [redacted] to prevent any down time. Someone decided to do them all at once without permission. I've included an attachment for the repairs done by Perry's automotive for your records. Redding Freightliner has a copy of this invoice. As I mentioned previously more than likely no calls have been made by them to verify this repair. I've also included my email to [redacted] and his response. Obviously we've had a conversation previously about this and not as they claim. In closing, I've offered to compromise on this bill and asked for an adjustment to 1,500.00 total. They have rejected that offer so we're at an impasse.

[redacted] , ie shop foreman , and mark f[redacted] ,service manager , both are pitaes, [redacted] attitude [redacted] , and his smart [redacted] attitude should get him canned , but mark likes it so it goes unchecked, been here over 24 hours to get a forced regen , still waiting , been very patient up to this point , just pass this place by , go to a larger dealer ship, I am certain the franchise owner could care less about you , just his millions, time and money better spent else where ,

The customer service is terrible. They give no estimate, and jack up the price every time you talk to them. The repair lasted for 3 hours, and then they didn't want to fix what they messed up. 36 thousand dollars later, the General manager tells me to take him to court. Found out from the California BAR that this repair facility did not have a licence to perform the work on passenger vehicles per California law. Personal items were stolen from our motorhome while we were there.

Review: We are [redacted] ground contractors in Redding and took one of our vehicles for repairs to Redding Freightliner. They were to repair a fluid leak and replace bushings that had been worn out. We were told by the service manager the repair would take place in 2 parts. This would keep the unit from having any down time. After 10 days we finally got our truck back from this company. Service manager would not return phone calls, repair for the leak wasn't fixed. We were never given any kind of estimate and repairs were preformed that weren't authorized. We took that vehicle to another shop for issues that were result of Redding Freightliners repair. Buyer beware. Redding Freightliner is a poorly run entity that degrades the Freightliner name. Their service department lacks customer service, communication and integrity. Bill remains unpaid to date.Desired Settlement: We would compromise a billing adjustment to 1,500.00 per my emails to [redacted], Freightliners service manager.
