This letter is in response to your correspondence regarding the above referenced complaint ID numberThe Redevelopment Authority of the County of Bucks administers the Bucks County Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program to assist low-to-moderate and
fixed income residents of Bucks County to make major repairs to their homesThe program is structured to allow homeowners in Bucks County to remain in their homes in a safe and healthy environmentThe Redevelopment Authority was appointed by the County of Bucks to act as the administrator of the program and the contract is awarded to the lowest most responsive contractor who bids on the workThe homeowner may also submit names of contractors that they would like to receive the bid for the work and they also can select any of the other contractors, but must pay the difference between the lowest bid and the contractor they prefer. This work was completed and the Homeowner signed the final acceptance of the work performed on April 24, The homeowner called the Redevelopment Authority regarding the sump pump not working and that the contractor had taken or thrown away the old electric meter and that *** was charging her for this meterShe was referred to the contractor who did the work on the homeThe homeowner again called the Authority regarding no response from the contractor, the Authority sent a letter to the contractor to contact the homeowner and address her concerns and the homeowner was asked to contact the Authority if the matter was not taken care of expeditiouslyThe sump pump was replaced and all of her concerns were taken care of by the contractorIn April the homeowner again contacted the Redevelopment Authority regarding the electric service installationThe Redevelopment Authority met with the contractor and had them go to the home and replace the electric meter and while there the contractor replaced the sump pump again as the homeowner complained that it wasn't working properly. In December the homeowner contracted the Redevelopment Authority again about the sump pump not working and a letter was sent to the homeowner explaining that the program provided for one year workmanship warranty and that she would need to contact the manufacturer of the sump pump, as this was the third time the pump was replacedShe was also informed she may want to have an electrician check the power to the pump since it was not a part of our project since these pumps simply plug into an existing receptacle located in the proximity of the sump pitThis very worthwhile program has been administered by the RDA for more that forty (40) years and lam proud to be a part of it and grateful the County Commissioner's provide this service to Bucks County Owner Occupied HomesPlease be advised that we have correspondence in our files that show the RDA has been attentive and available to discuss these allegationsSincerely,

residents of Bucks County to make major repairs to their homes. The program is structured to allow homeowners in Bucks County to remain in their homes in a safe and healthy environment. The Redevelopment Authority was appointed by the County of Bucks to act as the administrator of the program and the contract is awarded to the lowest most responsive contractor who bids on the work. The homeowner may also submit names of contractors that they would like to receive the bid for the work and they also can select any of the other contractors, but must pay the difference between the lowest bid and the contractor they prefer. This work was completed and the Homeowner signed the final acceptance of the work performed on April 24, 2014. The homeowner called the Redevelopment Authority regarding the sump pump not working and that the contractor had taken or thrown away the old electric meter and that [redacted] was charging her for this meter. She was referred to the contractor who did the work on the home. The homeowner again called the Authority regarding no response from the contractor, the Authority sent a letter to the contractor to contact the homeowner and address her concerns and the homeowner was asked to contact the Authority if the matter was not taken care of expeditiously. The sump pump was replaced and all of her concerns were taken care of by the contractor. In April 2015 the homeowner again contacted the Redevelopment Authority regarding the electric service installation. The Redevelopment Authority met with the contractor and had them go to the home and replace the electric meter and while there the contractor replaced the sump pump again as the homeowner complained that it wasn't working properly. In December 2015 the homeowner contracted the Redevelopment Authority again about the sump pump not working and a letter was sent to the homeowner explaining that the program provided for one year workmanship warranty and that she would need to contact the manufacturer of the sump pump, as this was the third time the pump was replaced. She was also informed she may want to have an electrician check the power to the pump since it was not a part of our project since these pumps simply plug into an existing receptacle located in the proximity of the sump pit. This very worthwhile program has been administered by the RDA for more that forty (40) years and lam proud to be a part of it and grateful the County Commissioner's provide this service to Bucks County Owner Occupied Homes. The issue that still remains is that the Redevelopment Authoridty who had went thru and with their contractor, had never given me any home warrantys on any of the work products that were performed on my house, there for this letter sent to you from them is not very helpful for me to follow thru on what they have proven for you.I recently went to my local state representative on this issue and there are unable to help me out and say this is a federal issue and that I need to go to small claims court. Which I do not have the money to go do. I fee that this is a no win situation when a that am I asking for is what should have been given to me when the work on my house was being done and what was in my contract with them that they give me my home warrrantys on the products that they had bought. If there is any other thing that could do please advise me. Also hope that They will be noted that they do not live up to there standards.Warm regards,
