Reduced and Motivated!..." etc is not public information and not appropriate for a sold listing This is private information about a private home CRMLS has been notified to remove the information as well I will have no recourse except to pursue legal action against Redfin and CRMLS

Hello,My name is Emily and I manage Redfin's Customer Support Team.  Looking at your home's information on Redfin, I noticed that there were old listing details still publicly available from the local real estate database (MLS). This information included the description and photos from the last...

time the home was on the market.  I was able to remove this information, allowing county public facts to be displayed instead: [redacted]Redfin's website shows that the property is not actively on the market nor that our brokerage is representing the property in any way.  This is displayed by looking at the sold status below the address and the sold banner on the Google Street view image.  We are displaying public facts available through the county assessor's office. The Redfin Estimate is a computer-generated algorithm that is based on past MLS listings and the county details available.  Because this value is computer-generated, it is not the same type of valuation you'd receive from an appraiser nor real estate agent and should not be considered the market value of a home.  If you find that the public facts are incorrect, you can update these details by clicking the Edit Facts button at the top of the page. Any changes to the home's information will be considered by the Redfin Estimate in about a week.  Also, if you were to list your home for sale, and the property shows as active on our site, you have the option to opt out of the feature at that time.  This is not available while the home is off-market and the Redfin Estimate is not designed to be directly changed nor removed, though you can expect this value to change over time depending on the real estate activity in your neighborhood.Thank you,Emily| REDFIN Customer Support

Hello [redacted],I'm sorry that I missed your earlier comment regarding the square footage. Furthermore, you will find the square footage for your home in two places:
The header square footage is provided to us by the MLS and is residual info from the last time it was active, so your going to want to contact that listing agent to have them shut off the datafeed reporting that information.
If you click on the public record tab, you will be taken to the 'Basic Info' section where we show the information we pull from the county, which includes your square footage.
I was able to find the listing agent's contact info for you convenience:[redacted], Coldwell Banker Residential[redacted]Once you get the listing agent to remove that old info from the MLS, the square footage from the bottom will rise to the header to accurately reflect your home.Furthermore, I didn't mean to make you upset, so I apologize for being negligent with your earlier [redacted]nse. Please know that I'm only trying to help.

We received a notification today regarding Complaint ID [redacted] and I see on the online system that the complaint has been marked as closed but unresolved. However, there have been new developments as of today that address the issue in question. 
 
Our team here at Redfin has been in touch with this individual through multiple other channels - he originally contacted our customer service team regarding information about a property at [redacted], CA 90803. 
 
Property information displayed on Redfin.com is received directly from MLSs (multiple listing services), and we have contracts with these providers to display data exactly as it's given to us. Our customer service team advised the individual to contact CRMLS (the data provider for his region) to remove listing information from their database. He was advised that as soon as CRMLS removed the information it would be automatically updated on Redfin.com as well. 
 
It appears that CRMLS has now complied with the individual's request to remove listing data from their system, and Redfin.com has also been updated to reflect the change. We believe these changes address the individual's concerns and would like to mark this complaint as resolved.
