Redmon Quality Roofing

Review: Mr. Redmon removed an old wood shake roof from my back porch roof to replace it with a new G.A.F. Timberline shingle. It seemed to be done in good order, however subsequent to a number of rain storms the water would cascade down over the existing "Gutter Helmet" product, without ever going into the gutter for drainage down the "downspout." This created quite a mess!I was able to contact Mr. Redmon on several occasions, without him ever coming to make any repair. Mr. Redmon was decent enough when I could get ahold of him, and seemingly understandable to my plight, and he even said he would not let me down; on at least two occasions, he said would show up at a certain day and time. He has not shown up yet! This exchange was after 4 July 2013; it is now 13 June 2014. It would seem obvious Mr. Redmon does not intend to honor his 5 Year warranty program. I have paid for that service as part of the overall contract, which is dated 20 October 2012. I don't know if Mr. Redmon has a health problem, but I know I do. [I now have "stage 4 Cancer" and would like for this to be remedied before I am gone]. Anything you could do to help would surely be appreciated.Respectfully,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Prior to the new roof being installed the previous wood shake roof was not completely removed from under the "Gutter Helmet" system. There are numerous pieces of old shakes still under the Gutter Helmet system. Those pieces are causing the main problem of water cascading OVER the Gutter Helmet. It needs to be un-done and re-done! I just want it properly repaired, and or replaced.....in a "workman" like manner.

Review: Signed a contract to fix a leak in our roof and a bump in August 2013. Contract contained a 3 year transferable warranty on workmanship and leakage. Within one month, it was apparent that the work was not done completely and leaks began in the same place. We made numerous attempts by phone and by letter (including registered mail) to get a response from the company. No one responded to our requests to come to inspect the issue and to honor the warranty specifically set forth in the contract. The work was not acceptable and the lack of response on our requests for repair are beyond unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Since we have tried repeatedly since December to have the company repaid the problem with absolutely no response from the company, we would like a full refund of our money paid. We will have to engage another contractor to fix the problem. If we had had a timely response from the company, we would have requested a repaid, but we do not trust their workmanship or reliability at this point.
