Although the photo does not have a time stamp on it, the tow truck is equipped with a GPS unit that tells us the time and the location of the truck 24/7. it would show what time the truck was there towing the vehicle. Mr. [redacted]The reason why we could not find the vehicle in question was because it was under a different name. The 2010 Volkswagen Passat was under the name of Mangusing. The address for this person is listed in Streamwood. That would mean someone else drove the vehicle from our facility.I am not sure if you were there when the vehicle was picked up but there was not a permit in the vehicle for that property. We do not feel there is any reason for a refund as this was a valid tow. As far as the signage on the property goes there are plenty of signs at all the entrance ways and in various other parts of the parking lot. On Wednesday 1/4/2017 at 2:21 pm we were called out by the District 15 State Police/Tollway Authority for a vehicle that was broken down on route 90 westbound at mile marker 65.The authorization number from the Tollway Authority on this call is 351.  We responded immediately with a flatbed tow...

truck to that location. Once on scene we found a Nissan Altima on the shoulder with a Tollway help truck behind it. We approached the driver and told him the District 15 State Police/Tollway Authority called us out to assist him. We loaded his vehicle and asked him where he wanted to be towed to. The District 15 State Police / Tollway Authority did not want him sitting on the Tollway in the extreme weather conditions. We towed the vehicle to [redacted] Hoffman Estates which is an IHOP restaurant. This way the customer could stay warm in the restaurant while waiting for his motor club to send a truck. The customer was charged 150.00 for the tow, 3 dollars a mile for 1 mile, and 6 dollars for tolls. These rates are set by the Illinois Tollway Authority and a copy of the bill is available upon request. We were called by the State Police / Tollway Authority. The Tollway Authority was still on site when we arrived. We do not have the ability to bill [redacted] motor club for a Tow that the Police had dispatched us to. This tow was an emergency situation due to the location of the vehicle, side of a major expressway,  and the  adverse weather conditions, below zero temperatures. The customer may be able to turn the bill into his motor club for reimbursement of the fees. if you have any other questions please feel free to contact us.

this response because:They are claiming it was a legal tow, but they don’t have the evidence to support it. All they have is 3 random photographs with no date or time stamps. There is no surveillance cameras at the parking lot either. Also, they are forbidding me to take my personal belongings (documents) from the vehiacle. They say it is their property until I pay them money they are asking for.

I am rejecting this response because:I am unsatisfied due to the way the situation was handled. I am completely understanding of the policies outside of their control- and appreciate the intentions and concern in regards to my well being.However, I still feel as if better clarification and communication could have executed.I will be filing with Small Claims Court to dispute this further.

We were called to the [redacted] restaurant at route 58 / Roselle rd for a jump start. We arrived on scene and found the customer there with 3 other people. We attempted the jump start but it would not start. We asked the customer where they wanted the vehicle towed and she told us [redacted] Mazda....

The customer asked if we could drive them home and the driver said no because his next tow was in Chicago. We also can not take 4 people in our tow truck at a time. The customer and her 3 friends took a cab from the scene. We towed the vehicle to the dealer and dropped it off.I apologize if there was a misunderstanding on the scene, but we cannot transport 4 people at a time in our tow trucks. have the address on file if you would show some type of genuine care and maybe get up from chair then maybe you would be able to put two and two together. Invoice [redacted] has all my vehicle information, but if your to lazy to do that then here is my info 2010  black Volkswagon Passat license [redacted]. Im sure this towing company is practicing in predatory towing with expired permits in its facility. I  have pictures and video with no towing signs posted. I saw one sign posted over 600  feet from my point of entrance. Their are more then one entrance and the simple fact they don't seem to care shows its a numbers game to them. Please help and get them to follow the rules we set fourth, no reason why the state will  justify this type of  behavior.
