Red's Auto Sales

Review: We bought a vehicle from Red's Auto Sales in New Castle, Pa on 2/13/2014. We test drove the car, and realized the rear turn signals didn't work. When we asked him about it he told us it was a simple bulb change, and nothing major. He reassured us numerous times that the car was a great car. I also asked him about the emission sticker he said, because they are in Lawrence county that it didn't need one, and then I said to him the county I am in that it does need one. He then said it would pass with no problem. He told us that he just had his friend inspect the car and it passed, because the car was a good car. I asked him for the car fax, which he pulled it up after I asked him 3 times and went quickly through it, but he said he couldn't print it out, because he was out of ink. Again he said the car was a great car. So we bought the car on his word that the car needed nothing but a bulb change, and purchased it for 3,050.00. I asked him for a 30 day warranty, he laughed and said not at that price. I should have known not to buy the car right there! He sent us down to the notary to transfer the vehicle, and as soon as we left the check engine light came on, and has been on since. I called him the next day to let him know that this car is not the great car he made it out to be. He said nothing is wrong with the car, and then I started to tell him what is wrong with the car, he then said again he just had the car inspected. Then He said there was nothing he could do. When I suggested bringing the car back and getting our money back, he stated that we would lose our money from the transfer fee, and I told him I didn't care I would eat the cost of that and go else where to buy another car. He said no! He did offer to buy the car back from us, but not what we paid for it, because he said he didn't know what was wrong with it. Now I only had the car 1 day. That we went and had an oil change and a full tank of gas. Didn't go no where, not even 50 miles on the car. More to the story! Don't buy from him.Desired Settlement: Red's auto knew this car had more problems than just the back bulb change. When I said that to him, he hung up on me. He also said to me that he might be able to help if it cost 150.00 but not if it's going to be 400.00 to fix it. He knew this car was going to cost too much money to fix it. Which it might be the harness which is couple thousands of dollars from what Buick garage told us. This guy knew this and I want my money back that I paid for the car 3,050.00 plus all the fees.
