My wife and I signed a contract with Courville Construction on 12/13/17 for home renovation repairs on a home that we had recently purchased. The contract required a deposit of $10,835.20. Today is April 9th, 2018 and our home hasn't made a 25% completion of progress. We have called and messaged the owner ***, his assistant Ashley Edwards, and even one of their project leads, Troy Tate, multiple times since the beginning of this process. We've picked out flooring, tile, and fixtures to have been ordered that were never ordered. When speaking with *** we were told on several occasions that 'people would start work within the next few days, someone would be there tomorrow, we're ordering your material, we're gathering your material, etc.? None of this has proven to be accurate. All but one or two times after being told the above statements has anyone ever showed up to work. Three weeks ago, my wife and I asked for an itemized list of the cost to our home. We were again told several times that he would have the list 'in two days, by Friday, next week, etc.? We do not have the list. Upon the last attempt to get in contact with ***, we asked for our money back on April 3rd, 2018. We were told he would meet us at 5:00pm on April 4th. The meet was canceled due to a family emergency and was pushed to 4:30pm on Friday, April 6th, 2018. Again it was canceled because 'they needed more time to get the itemized list together.? The same list I requested three weeks prior. After some argument, I agreed to meet on Monday, April 9th, today. I told Ashley that I needed to be called or messaged over the weekend with a time for Monday. I never heard from them. On Sunday, I called multiple times to no avail. At about 4:30pm, I was messaged back. It stated 'It's Sunday and we haven't made our schedule for tomorrow yet. We will call you in the morning with a time. Thanks, enjoy your day.? This statement was a slap in the face above all else. It is Monday at 10:34 AM and I have not received a call.

Refund We would like our money returned to us with the itemized list that we requested and the receipts for the purchases made for our home. We are determined to retain our money and will take legal action otherwise. Without a list of cost in a timely manner we will request the total sum of the deposit to be returned to us. We would then like to never come in contact with Courville Construction or it's affiliates again.
