Reduce My Card Reviews (%countItem)

"Reduce My Card" (RMC) contacted me. They told me that for a fee they would consolidate my credit cards to one payment of 15 months through a bank that I would get approval from. They told me the fee & I was "approved" also immediately. When I called back RMC, a recording said they recorded all conversations.. I asked them at least a 1/2 dozen times if Capitol One, the bank I would use, also charged a fee. RMC repeatedly told me NO, only if the balance in the 15 months wasn't paid back in full. Maybe I was naïve, but I thought, if I have to pay only RMC's fee that would be much less than the interest I was currently paying on my credit cards. A week later, before speaking to the bank, I asked "Jennifer" one more time: how, where & when did Capitol One make their money if they don't change a fee? She was silent. In effect Capitol One was giving out free money. I brought that up numerous times and each time in our "consultations". RMC kept referring to the fee I would pay the bank ONLY if I didn't pay the balance in 15 months. I then asked her if RMC was owned by Capitol One? She said no. I asked that question because I thought maybe this was some kind of incredible promotional deal. l By then it was too late, they had charged my credit card a week before. I was then put in touch with Capitol One bank on a 3-way call, RMC when asked by Capitol One who she was said, "a friend". Capitol One refused to talked to her in a 3 way conversation. Capitol One called me back and told me, that of course Capitol One charged a fee. I could have gone to the bank directly. Maybe RMC is a decent company but with some employees giving misleading information. I just don't know..... If they truly have recordings, they need to go back and listen to them.

Reduce My Card Response • Aug 04, 2018

Keep in mind it is never our desire to have any unhappy clients nor mislead anyone. Our goals are to assist, educate and direct our clients as best we can to resolve their concerns about high rates on interest bearing accounts. We have taken the time to listen to the recordings and have found no statements misleading Mr.. Secondly Mr. has signed an agreement for the billing of our services and agreed without being under duress. In Mr.s "SIGNED" agreement online it clearly states a "3 Day Cancellation Clause" Furthermore we have made several attempts to get in contact with Mr. 8/4/2018 and left messages to address his concerns. Mr. has not accepted our calls. If Mr. would like to call us at 855-751-5588 Ext 101 to address his concerns we are more than willing to see what can be done. Also in the agreement it clearly states that after such time our fee becomes NON REFUNDABLE. If Mr. would like to get in touch with us then we are here 8:30 - 4pm Monday Through Sat.

Revdex.com:

I have spoken on the phone with Nick, the owner of Reduce My Card. He was kind of enough to contact me by phone. I'm sure we can solve this misunderstanding & come to a mutual resolution.

Regards,

Mike

These people got my personal information, charged my credit card $595 and I have been trying for months to get my money back. This is a scam and I can't find anyone to assist me. I bet I have called them over 20 times.

Reduce My Card Response

We have sent several refund letters that are required to be signed in order for Ms. refund to be issued. There is no scam going on. We have notified the client on several occasions that she must sign and return to us. We do not deny people refunds nor would we ever want anyone unhappy. We will reach out to Ms. and rectify it with her directly.

Customer Response

Unfortunately, this is not true. I was never sent a letter to sign. I was even told they sent my refund check via ***. I spoke with our Fed *** carrier, who I know personally and he did not receive anything from this company. I was told they had the wrong address in their computer. I was told Mr *** was out of the office, I was told he was sick, I was told he was in a meeting several times. If they would just refund my money I would be satisfied. This is what is wrong with our society, is dishonest people.

Reduce My Card Response

The client can submit a formal request for refund at *** and the refund will be honored as if it were the first day of request. Just like any other company there are policies and procedures in place for a reason.

Thank you!

Reduce My Card LLC considers this matter closed until the client follows proper protocol.

Respectfully Yours
