I don't know the exact date when *** from Audionutz asked if I would remove a back glass for him, so he had better access to remove the old tint from the back glassThis was for one of his customers I agreed to remove the glass on a VW PassatAbout a month later the customer came
back stating that there was a leak in the installation of the back glass I inspected the glass and found there was a small leak in the back glassI suggested to re-seal the leak but the customer was pretty firm about removing the glass and reinstalling it againI agreed to remove the glass and to redo the entire job at no additional cost, for we guarantee all of our workThe customer claims that her headliner was damaged due to water damageTo this day I don't know the damage done to the headliner, Because I have never seen the headliner.I agreed to pay for half of the headliner to get reupholsteredBecause of lack of attention and negligence on the customers part, about bringing this to our attention as soon as possibleThe customer claims they were too busy with work to notify us about the back glass leakingWe have a mobile service, so we could've easily gone to the residence to reseal the leaky back glassIf we would've found that the glass was leaking, we would've addressed the issue with quick response and the headliner would of been of minimal damageWhen the customer brought the car back the headliner had been removed, the back trunk area was also removed, the headrest in the area by the back glass where the speakers are located had been removed as wellWe remove the glass and reinstalled it, and the vehicle stayed with *** We allowed the glass on the urethane to cure and then we tested the back glass for leaks and I confirmed that there were no more leaksTwo or three days later her husband contacted me via phone asking me what I was going to do about the damageIf I was going to pay for it, I told him I wasn't going to take care of itBecause I believe that we were only responsible for minimal damage.Then I'm not sure if the call was dropped or he hung up, but his wife called me and told me if I wasn't taking responsibility that she would take me to small claims court and I told her I don't take threats lightlyI guess she must've contacted *** from Audionutz because shortly after he contacted me and he suggested that I just take care of the headliner for her I agreed, I told him to tell her to take the yelp review down and I would take care of her headliner for her and get it reupholsteredShe said, she would talk to her husband about it and would call back They never called back I never made contact with them and I asked *** if they called and they said they haven't called I was under the assumption that I would pay for the headliner to get reupholstered only if she would take the yelp review downShe was supposed to call back and she never didI would like to know how much her deductible is, so we can put this behind usMy goal when I first started Auto Glass Solutions was to provide excellent customer service value and quality to Yolo CountyIn the nine years that I've been in business I have never had this occur This is an extreme case and I hope we can resolve this issue and move forward Thank you
