I am sorry for the delayed response to [redacted]'s complaint. We...
installed his siding in 1991 and gave him a 5 year warranty on our workmanship and he has a lifetime warranty on the siding product from the manufacturer. Even though his workmanship warranty expired in 1996 I am going to send him the $60.00 he has requested as a goodwill gesture. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Review: Vinyl siding was installed in Feb. 1991. It had a lifetime warranty. A piece came loose on the eve of the house because of the wind. I called Reece Builders to come out and nail it back on, they said it would cost me 75.00 service fee. I said no it should be covered under the warrenty.Desired Settlement: To be reimbersed 60.00. I paid my grandson to fix it.

A rep came by house to house and I told him I'd like my sunroom windows replaced. A salesperson came out and measured and sold me new windows & installation. We signed a contract. The salesperson returned the next week telling me that the windows he quoted would not fit. He tried quoting me more expensive windows. I told him I would not pay that much. He came back a few days later saying he would install the more expensive windows for the agreed contract price. A person came out and said they could not / would not be able to install the windows, but the installer would be out to confirm. Instead, I received a letter saying "they declined to accept the job as stated".
Guess they didn't want to lose all that profit due to their mistake. Guess they don't find their own contracts binding. Guess they didn't have the guts to come to my house and tell me to my face, instead they wrote a letter. When the salesman was here, all he wanted to talk about was honesty & integrity. Sorry, I found neither.
