Review: Hello. In June-July 2015 I discussed with LexisNexis signing up for their legal research services. The sale person, Reinaldo S[redacted], told me that libraries covering all 3 of my practice areas (corporate law, commercial litigation and employment law) would be covered by the agreement, that is, treatises, practice notes, etc related to those practice areas. The cost would be $67/month for the first year, and then approx. $250 for years 2 and 3. He also told me I would have a 3 (three) month trial period, and no money would be due until month 4. Within the first few weeks after signing the contract I discovered that only one of my practice areas (employment law) was covered and the other two practice areas were not covered. I brought this to the attention of the "rep" Lexis Nexis assigned to me, Courtney C[redacted], and she initially ignored me. She eventually responded late to my concern by telling me to pay $200 per month extra (that's an increase of nearly 300%!!!) to get coverage of corporate and commercial litigation law. I called her supervisor and left a message, who ignored me and never got back to me. I called customer service and got nowhere. I chose Lexis over Westlaw because Westlaw would have charged $250/month and Lexis quoted me $67/month for the first year, for all three practice areas. That is why I chose Lexis. LexisNexis played a trick on me - it induced me to sign a contract and now attempts to charge me nearly 300% more to obtain the services it promised in the first place. A month ago I sent a letter of termination with a check for the first month of payment (I paid in advance). I sent this letter during the "three month trial period", when no payment was due yet. It took Lexis one month to get back to me after receiving that letter. It did so with harassing phone calls and emails. Lexis threatened to send a collections agent to collect payment for equivalent of 3 years' worth of service. The sales practices of this company are completely misleading and fraudulent - this company induced me into signing a contract and now it is trying to extort a price that is much, much, higher than promised. They provided 1/3 of the services they promised. They harassed me. PLEASE look into LexisNexis' practice and stop this company from harassing me and inducing others through lies. Thank you in advance. Regards, Natasha Moskvina.

Ps. Reinaldo S[redacted] is reachable at ###-###-####; Courtney C[redacted] is reachable at ###-###-####.Desired Settlement: Lexis should acknowledge that the contract is terminated; accept the payment I already sent; stop harassing me.
