July 14, 2017To whom it may concern, [redacted] came to Reedman Toll Chevrolet (Formerly [redacted] Chevrolet) on March 16, with a complaint that her clutch pedal sticks and gets stuck in the down positionIt was determined that there was an issue with the clutch assembly, and the hydraulic components on her [redacted] *** [redacted] was given an option of using Genuine GM parts or aftermarket partsDue to the significant cost difference the customer elected to go with the aftermarket option.Approximately Mid-June of [redacted] and her husband came to the dealership stating that they had additional issues with the vehicle and were requesting a refund, W offered to rediagnose at no charge and repair as needed under warrantyCustomer then provided documentation that they went to another dealership and paid to have all new repairs madeAt no point prior to getting repairs made for a second time were we contacted in regards to an issue with the vehicleAlso the documentation provided did not clarify what actually failed with the clutch nor were any old parts returned to us for inspection or so we can seek warranty reimbursement from the manufacturer for a potentially failed component.Based or the criteria that we were not notified or given any opportunity to inspect the vehicle or any supposed failed components, or not returned the items in question that had failed we cannot provide the customer any form of refund at this timeIf the customer can provide additional information or the potentially failed components we can reevaluate this decision.Thank ??u,Bill C

To whom it may concern,I am writing this in response to a Revdex.com complaint we received on or around 4/6/ID ***I apologize for not responding sooner, I was in immediate contact with ** *** after receiving the letter in hopes of clearing up any confusionWe did have a dialogue back and
forth and I was able to show him where the disclaimer details the pricing discount on our websiteHe did seem reluctant to believe me and I did my best to explain, in hopes of keeping him as a long term customerHe did purchase a vehicle from us and I am thankfulI was able to send him a computer screen shot from my system that shows the discount and loss of income we absorbed in meeting his price demandsI hope this letter explains our position and satisfies the Revdex.com complaint against us.Russ S.General Manager

I am not sure why or how all of a sudden they are now being offered to us as probably most of this could have been avoided if given to us from the start.  Please advise the customer to bring them to [redacted] at [redacted] Chevrolet of Springfield and we will file a claim with the vendor we purchased them from. As we did not do the labor at time of customer’s issue, we most likely will not be able to get any kind of labor refund, only possibly parts refund. Thank youBill C[redacted]

To whom it may concern,The purpose of this letter is in response to a Revdex.com complaint We received against Reedman Toll Chevrolet of Springfield. The customer's complaint states that he intended to cosign on an automobile loan for his son. Instead, he is listed as the 'primary' buyer and his son is...

listed as the 'co buyer. This is not Something We can change after the fact, Once the contract is signed and submitted to the bank, the bark will not reverse. The bank that agreed to finance the purchase, dictates who is listed as the primary buyer and will not agree to financing without [redacted] listed as the primary buyer on the loan. Or, they will finance but would do so at a higher interest rate, resulting in a higher monthly payment. Both [redacted] and his son are equally responsible for the loan and it is considered a joint purchase regardless of who is listed as the Co buyer and who is listed as the primary buyer. I apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot change a bank contract after the fact. It is up to the bank to make that decision and I don't believe they have any reason to do so, considering that it doesn't change who is responsible for the loan.Sincerely,Russ S.General Manager
