Reed's Rims & Tires

On September 11, 2015, I purchased four new 20-inch rims and 4 tires from [redacted]'s Rims and Tire Shop. On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, I noticed that one of the rims had started to rust at each point where the spokes interceded with the rim. I attempted to contact them by phone with out success and went by the office on Friday, November 27, 2015 and found the business closed. After numeral attempts by phone I was able to make contact on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 after going to the business with the owner's, brother. I was told that the owner was not in and that it was nothing they could do about the rim unless I paid for a new rim. After paying nearly $1650.00 for the rims and tires I told the brother that this was unacceptable and the rim shouldn't had rusted unless it was defective. He then stated he would contacted the company or warehouse where they pick-up their rims and tires from. I left and after making contact with the owner's brother by phone later that day I was told that the warehouse where they get their supplies from is not going do anything either.Reed has refused to give me the name of the company and their location and will not answer my calls.Product_Or_Service: Rims and TiresDesired SettlementReplaced the rusted rim or refund the cost of the rim.

Tires were purchased from Reed's Rims & Tires less than a month ago. The tire were sold as a new set of tires however, one of the tires has blown out from the side (manufacture defect). The tire was taken back to Reed's to be repaired or replaced in which [redacted], the owner stated neither could occur due to the tire's area of repair (the side). Defensive driving of the vehicle was not done in any form to effect the tire.[redacted] did not did attempt to provide customer service by evaluating the tire to determine if it was a defective tire. [redacted] immediately stated that the tire can be replaced for the stated amounts and did not try to resolve the issue.The set of tires were purchased for $392 ($98 each) and [redacted] first quoted price of $50 for replacement of the tire based on the warranty pro rate (keep in mind less than a month)and after an extensive conversation, [redacted] then quoted me the price of $60 for replacement.[redacted] could not show me how he came up with that amount for the warranty pro rated price. Experienced extremely bad customer service when voiced my concern.Desired SettlementTo replace the defective tire or refund the price of the tire.
