After 5-6 visits here...Ordered a ring that he "custom builds" (only mounts the stones and orders new band apparently). Included in that price was the cost to solder all the rings together and buff out old bands to match new band. No soldering was done. Full price charged?! They asked to leave the ring to finish the job. They've had 4-5 weeks...that's long enough. Will never go back. Review: We purchased six large items from Reed's Furniture and were very surprised when we received our sectional and it's main body was defective. Initially we were not to concerned with the issue. We figured they will send out a technician to fix the problem (the space connecting the 2 sectionals was substantially wider than it should be) and all would be ok. However, that been said when the technician tried to fix the problem this created another problem with the way the sectional lined up to the wall. Basically it doesn't. The sectional does not line up to the wall. The sectional tends to curve when attached to the other piece. This causes a curve and space between wall and sectional that expands well over 12" long and is 2" wide. Structurally the backside of one piece is curved, not part of the initial order or design. After multiple correspondences there has been no resolution. We sent a series of photos showing discrepancies and Reed's offered to pick up piece and repair. The problem is why are we having to repair a custom piece of furniture. Completely removing the backside and rebuilding it will compromise the integrity of the whole sofa. In what way you might ask. This is how 1. Fabric will be removed, if reused a new series of holes will be sewn in. 2. If the same fabric is not used how will we know the new piece will match being new piece will be from a new bolt. 3. If we had them pick up for repairs there would be no packaging which could potentially cause more damage. Tired of back and forth we decided to accept furniture at an undesired discounted price. Reed's added that the furniture would have to be accepted "as is". Our response was "OK" accepted "as is" as long as our warranty and additional purchased warranties were honored. If the warranties were not honored we would not accept as is. Offer was not accepted, we felt the warranties were more important than the $175.00 discount and "as is" furniture. Our response to Reed's: This is consumer coercionDesired Settlement: At this point, a new sectional is desired. In addition to the initial defect there is also problems with the fabric and some of the feet.

Review: I purchased a five piece bedroom set from Reeds that was delivered approximately in March of 2012. In summer of 2013, we began to notice a very foul, mildew smell in the room that contained the furniture but couldn't identify the source. My daughter was getting frequent headaches and was also seen twice by an Ears, Nose & Throat specialists due to throat issues. The smell became so bad that I called a leak detection specialist to see if he could pin point where the problem could be coming from. After ruling out any leak, my daughter pointed out to him the awful smell in one of her chest drawers that contained her scarfs, when he got a whiff he said that's mold! He then looked behind and underneath the dresser, the night stands and the bed and found all pieces to be riddled with white mold. She had been sleeping in a mold infested bed for at least several months, we were appalled. We were told by Reeds that the Warranty had expired. I called back a second time and said the warranty should have nothing to do with this issue, as this was a toxic health issue that obviously took time to grow. I was then told by Art in customer Service, he would try to file a claim with the manufacturer. I then requested to have the contaminated furniture picked up and was told by Tony, a sales manager they could not pick it up, furthermore, Tony would not allow me to leave the nigh stand I brought in for their inspection. I was told by Art that the owner, Don Wickman said this would have to wait until Monday when they could contact their necessary people. My issue is with Reeds, this is who I purchased the furniture from NOT the manufacturer.Desired Settlement: Full refund for furniture, contaminated furniture picked up, all expenses reimbursed .

Response:

An agreement was made with customer Michelle Riscan and this issue has been resolved.

Review: I ordered an 'L' shaped sofa. The sofa arrived with the 'L' a different color and fabric than the sofa I ordered. We waited and the manufacturer resend the 'L' portion but it is cut wrong and does not fit. So the 'L' cushion does not reach the back of the sofa and the front hangs over. In addition, the sofa was made using different dye lots of fabric, some cushions are dark brown others lighter. I was told all sales are final and when I objected Reed's Customer Service Rep, Art, stated that it is the fault of the manufacturer and they are not responsible.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take the sofa back and refund my $999.00.
