us or written us aletterOn 5/10/17, three months after she gave us the final payment for the job and five months afterthe cabinets were installed, her son emailed us asking for the name of the contact information of thecabinet makerI've included a copy of that emailWe gave him that informationWe emailed him backasking for pictures, measurements and a description of the problem and didn't get the informationrequested back except that she was concerned that the doors made were too small for the cabinetsWedid not see any problems with the doors when they were installed.Our contract states, "The owners agree that with respect to all accessories purchased by the contractorfor installation such as heaters, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, flooring, tiles, cabinets, countertops etc.that they shall look solely to the manufacturer's guarantee and not to the contractor".*** ***'s son has been an intermediary in the whole job** *** *** ** ** *** *** ***

*** ** *** *** ** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***She withheld payment for two months even though it was a manufacturer's flooring issue and promisewas made to refinish the floor by the manufacturerSeveral phone calls to her during the job resulted inher screaming at the person callingShe was unwilling to understand things from any other view pointthan her own.We did work that was above and beyond what was included in the contractAfter what seemed to be anever ending punch list, we asked her for a complete list which she signed and which we agreed tocomplete before final paymentAt this point, if there really was a problem with the doors, it should havebeen part of the punch list.It seems like she has stopped her son from helping her at this pointI've included his lastcommunication on June 1st which indicates he was close to solving the issue with ***s but thenwas stopped by her.We are reluctant to have anything further to do with this customer.Sincerely,Shelley R***Rees & Company, Inc
