Review: On Friday October 17, 2014 we had Reeves in our home to do a check up and clean everything on our furnace as we have done every few yrs in the past by a different company. the kid who came into our home from reeves checked everything over said it looked good other than it being very old went to light the furnace and it exploded, leaving us w/ no furnace, a broken slop sink (from the explosion the kid was thrown into it) and a huge mess from the fire brick. The fire brick was inside of the furnace and it exploded leaving pieces all over the basement along w/ all the smoke and dust that was inside of the furnace that went every where and they didn't even offer to send someone out to clean up the mess. The only thing this company offered us was a new furnace that they would quote other homeowners $2000 they would give to us for $1600. when they came into my home we had a working furnace that we just wanted cleaned and checked out and now we're left w/ no furnace and no money to replace it. we have gotten 2 quotes from other companies one is for $2320 and the other is for $2370. We're currently working w/ the companies insurance but due to depreciation we won't get nearly enough to even cover a new furnace. Reeves is a big name company how can they think that its ok to treat a customer this way and just get away w/ it? we have two children in our home and the temps are only in the mid 40s to low 50s and we've literally been left in the cold by Reeves!Desired Settlement: if the ins company will only settle for the depreciated value of the furnace we would like Reeves to pay for the remainder, as well as the the day I missed from work, clean up of my basement and the slop sink replacement

Review: We had the plumber to look at leaking outside spigots and a leaking drain pipe. Plumber said only one outside spigot was leaking and made a repair. I asked him if he was sure the other spigot in the back patio area was not leaking, as I was pretty sure it was and he said it was not. Two days later I went to use the spigot and it was leaking very steadily! I called them to let them know they had made a mistake and they said too bad, plumber said it was not leaking and we would have to pay for another service call.I feel that this is unfair and they should come back and do the repair with out charging us for a second service callDesired Settlement: I would like the plumber to come back and fix the leaking spigot and not charge me again for a service call.
