WATCH OUT!!
Do not work with this company! They have some system that can cost you a referral fee even if you do not accept a lead. If you don't pay them they just threaten you to a 3rd party collections regardless what your broker agrees too. I had a client established in 2019 from Zillow and that client passed away. So the family reached out to me directly to sell the home since I had knowledge of it. I provided the 2019 referral agreement. I provided a clear written email from their "lead" that the lead contacted me directly and did not reach out to this company. The owner died. The Personal Representative was recorded so the property could close successfully. I provided all this documentation and they still pursued a referral fee. I have no records of ever receiving anything except the email from the rep stating "where is our money" The IP address does not match my IP address on their referral agreement nor does my brokerage information. They stated in their master agreement everything falls on the agent responsibility even if you dont use your account or have access to it. These people are an utter nightmare and I would stay away from them if you have any client base what so ever because they have an answer for everything which has you paying them or threats to collections. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Find business on your own and do not set up an account.

I subscribed to this Referral exchange on Feb 1st, I paid $to join (lifetime membership)I was told by my boss at my real estate firm that this company should never have allowed me to sign up without my Managing Broker's (boss') approvalShe informed me that it is against company policy for me to be a part of this exchangeI called the company on Feb 14th to request a cancellation of my membership and a refundThey only granted me a refund of $and would not cancel my membershipI tried calling again on Feb 21st and again, they would not cancel my membership or refund me the full amount

On August 8th, 2018, I had a lengthy conversation with [redacted] , the area manager regarding the ReferralExchange programThroughout the conversation, I repeatedly asked [redacted] if I am required to do anything in order to receive referralsHe said I DID NOT need to do anything to receive referrals for the $feeHe said his company would match referrals based on on my profile and geographic location and send me leads as they became availableTherefore, on August 9th, I went into system and quickly discovered that I as a Real Estate agent have to submit referrals into their database and ReferralExchange has to convert one of those referrals before they will refer a lead to me as a Real Estate agentFollowing this discovery, I contacted [redacted] and notified him that he misled me and deceitfully lied to me regarding the ReferralExchange programI asked him to cancel my services and credit my account effective immediatelyI contacted [redacted] several times

Hello, I am sorry for your frustration, although we disagree with the characterization of the follow up and also the specifics of the referral agreement processOur concern is that the client submitted a request with us, which we confirmed (both before and after the referral was sent and accepted)It appears the initial contact (you have cited three different, mutually exclusive parties and situations from which you initially received the client's information) did not secure the client's business, since they initiated the contact with ReferralExchange and we confirmed it prior to sending the referral over to youWe also provided the client's search details prior to acceptance ReferralExchange has outlined it's policy numerous times-both before and after the transaction took place-which is that an active, prior signed agreement with the client would release our interest in the referralThat was indicated in writing and over the phoneI am sorry for your frustration with our follow up, however as the clients have confirmed the success of the purchase-and no prior, active agreement exists with the client, we have not released our interest in the referralOur Closing Department has followed up with you to attempt to resolve the issue-taking into consideration the complexity of the situation and offered potential solutionsWe're optimistic that we'll be able to come to a positive resolution Thank you ReferralExchange

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this business is trying to do this to other RealtorsI clearly sent all documentation letting them know I had a previous business arrangement with these clientsThere is no way of knowing who the client would be without clicking on their linkAnd after that occurred, I immediately let the 2nd referral company know thisThey verbally replied that it was no problem, that they would delete the referralThey are not holding up to their wordAnd, they have offered to 'lower' amount, why would you do this if you were 100% correct? I do not owe them this money.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2015/11/30) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Marketing Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: ***@referralexchange.com We spoke with Mr [redacted] after receiving his complaint, and answered his questions/addressed his concernsWe also sent an email with additional informationMr [redacted] sent us an email expressing his thanks for the follow-up ReferralExchange does have a partnership with CRS the Council of Residential SpecialistsCRS Designees are entitled to receive leads from ReferralExchange at no chargeThe program is called the Qualified Consumer Leads Program and it is powered/operated by ReferralExchange Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2015/12/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Yes, the business was able to answer the questions I had originally asked the best way they couldThe guy who called me back was much more knowledgeable about the product and serviceHe also didn't keep asking me what card I wanted to put it onMy call was recorded and I believe they will be able to use that to train future calling prospectors to understand when you are asking someone to invest over $they better be able to answer some questionsAs a business owner I want to make sure I understand the cost, what's being asked, and if I believe I can have a return on my investment

I was a part of their referral network and got an email about a possible lead in 2014....called the client, never got the listing and they listed with another firmover YEARS LATER, another referral agency sent me a referral for the same client, I called them and proceeded to list off their referralI have been harassed by this company now for years and I have repeatedly asked for one thing....a legitimate signed copy of the referral agreement from which the have REFUSED to provide AND when I went in to my account to look for it, its a generic blank undated document with nothing on it! I have repeatedly told countless people that have called threatening me and telling me im going to collections and they are going to report me to the Revdex.com that I spoke with my attorney and provided what I had that there is no agreement that is legal and binding and that I had already paid ANOTHER referral agency because they referred when I listed!!! No one will listen, all they do is threaten

Hi ***, Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry for any confusion you have about our processI'd like to outline the chain of events and Terms of Use in order to clarify ReferralExchange's position and follow upAfter you purchased your ReferralExchange account you submitted leads through our systemWe worked all of those leads on your behalf (as per the Terms of our Agreement)Prior to the 14th you called in to outline your concern about your Broker's positionThe product (and Terms) were reiterated to you and you no refund was requested or providedAfter that phone call, our company called your Broker and left a message, which has never been returned, in an effort to explain our process and Terms Later, on the 14th, as you pointed out, you called with continued concerns about your Broker's positionWe explained the Terms of Use again (we do not offer refunds if you have used the service and we have worked your leads already because we are already spending money servicing your submissions)That representative went outside of our process and offer a partial refund of $as an act of good faith to assuage your concernsYou accepted that refundThat representative also outlined to you that ReferralExchange would send you something in writing letting you know that you would have no obligation to submit referrals moving forwardHe then sent you that in writing by email We've made an exception for you with regard to your refund-which is not owed due to the Terms of Use of the Agreement but we wanted to offer nonetheless as an act of good faithWe've also provided in writing that you are under no obligation to submit future referralsGiven the fact that we have 1) provided a refund which you accepted and 2) released you of your obligation, ReferralExchange does not understand any further action to be due

Referral exchange sent me a possible lead in June but the customer would not respond to my calls, email or text Referral exchange wanted to know how it was going and November I told them that she was unresponsiveA personal agent friend had this home listed a year or so before and wanted to know if she sent me a referral would I be interested...I said yesI listed the home and I explained this to Referral exchange that she would not respond to me because of themThey told me that the referral would never expireYou can't have an open-ended contract! This company was not the reason for this home being on the market and they still want to get paid if it closesI have asked them to remove my account because this is unethicalThey were not the procuring cause of me getting the listingAlso, they sent me a customer back in or I think and never listed the homeShe called me when her husband died because not one would list the home because it is a single wide hom

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/10) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] , Marketing Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: ***@referralexhange.com Thank you for feedback on our sales process and we will relay your concerns to our Sales Department ReferralExchange provides significant value to agents who wish to grow and expand their referral business, by making it easier for agents to take advantage of every referral or lead outside of their preferred area, price point or property typeWe manage all of the paperwork, folland tracking so that agents can easily manage their referral pipeline

This company is a disgrace professionally The manner that they conduct their business is with threats, raised voices and ultimatums They tarnish the CRS designation that many brokers and realtors strive to achieveReferral Exchange has you accept their referral without knowing who or what you are agreeing to You are not able to see the lead unless you acceptWe are being harassed and threatened to pay for a lead that did not register on this site The former husband that did go on their site is not the owner The owner did not have to share any proceeds with the former husband and he was never on the title of the property The owner did not call us due to Referral Exchange The owner did not realize that her former husband went on the site and called Referral Exchange personally Referral Exchange told her that there was some mistake, not worry about us paying a referral fee in regards to her property Additionally, Referral Exchange was told that the former husband suffers from dementia and owns his own condo in the same complex with another address It is reasonable to expect to pay for that lead, if he lists the property with us even though the unit number is not correctWe have paid Referral Exchange for previous referrals and have one pending currently We are well aware of our commitment to viable leads We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity Referral Exchange needs to have a fair business model instead of a "thug" mentality

Clearly, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out a lead that was submitted to Referral Exchange by the seller, should have been air marked to give referral credit to the Seller's agentAfter researching the matter, it has been determined that Referral Exchange's online referral does not ask the ethical question of "Are you currently working with a real estate agent?" This is truly unfortunately, since the Seller's agent played a key role to put the deal together After spending several hours assisting the seller with a small property in Wichita, KSthe referral exchange refused to acknowledge that the referral was generated in Florida While the margins are narrow, the bait and switch is troubling Based on perception, the Referral Exchange commonly practice when an agent decline to enroll in their referral program Both the seller and the real estate agent have tried several times to correct the lead that was subsequently passed on to another agent in the local Wichita area, to list the property for sale

So happy I decided to join Referral Exchange! It has proven to be an asset to my business and supports my local clients and beyond Being located in Orlando and communicating with new clients via Social Media allows me to connect my relocation clients with an agent in their town Referral Exchange provides me the peace of mind of connecting my clients to an agent that is the best fit for them allowing us to work as a team and make the closing process seamless

Hi [redacted] , ReferralExchange's resolution process goes through our Closing Department, not through this siteThe Closing Department has already reached out to you multiple times to request follow up and documentation, and they have been in contact by phone and email regarding your disputesThey have outlined our expectation of the Referral Agreements in place, particularly the matter of procuring cause and expectations thereinSince we have agreements in place that originated through our company and referral, any disagreements you've made must go through the proper channel, which we ourselves are using activelyWe are requesting a resolution ourselves through that process (through our Closing Department) and they are available to respond and work toward a solution Thank you

I signed up the referral program through referral exchange and I paid a $fee to get started I was told that I would start receiving referrals right away and they explained the process to me But that was a lie, because I was later told that I don't start receiving referrals until after I sent in a referral first So I paid a $fee, but I still wasn't eligible to receive referrals and the associate that signed me lied to me I have left several messages for the company and no one is willing to get me money back even though I've been lied to

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Again, I have told you that I called your company after I clicked on the email and told you I was already working with these clientsYour person said no problemI will take your name offI had already accepted the lead from Realtor.com, and thus called the clients right awayIf you need verification from my clients on that, I'm sure they would be happy to give that to you.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello ***, I am sorry that you are frustrated, although we disagree with the characterization of the follow up by our Closing DepartmentTo clarify: we sent you a referral in at the direct request of the client, whom we spoke to to confirm the requestYou accepted the referral, updated ReferralExchange four separate times over four months with positive feedback on the status of the client's listing potentialYou subsequently listed and sold the property we referredSince there is a legally binding referral agreement in place, we have requested the referral payment from the transaction We have outlined to you our policy, specifically that we will release our interest in the event of a prior, active signed contract or agreement with the clientWe have asked you for this specific documentation however you have not provided it because you did not have an active, prior agreement with the client in writingWe are following our policy, which we have outlined to you a number of times in writing and over the phone Please keep in mind that you have successfully closed two different referrals with us, and paid us on those two closingsWe have had a positive, successful relationship with you for years now, one that has been mutually beneficialThe head of our Closing Department has taken this into consideration in his outreach to you, and continues to actively present various options for resolving this outstanding referral payment which we hope that you will considerSince he is exclusively responsible for resolving these types of issues, we have requested you go through him, rather than through other representatives that cannot helpWe are optimistic that we can come to a resolution on this issue, and I encourage you to consider the options he has presented Thank you for your time -ReferralExchange

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I accepted the lead June 28th or 29th not September It is a lead if the customer doesn't respond to you She never responded to me until her old agent (that moved to Nashville ) asked me if I would take the listing So they are wrong and were not the reason I got the listing [redacted] I accepted in April but she did not list with me She called me on June 21, because her husband passed away and I listed the home This was over a year but I am fine if this one sells to give them a referral fee This company does not deserve a referral fee because I did not get the listing on this home because of them Sincerely, [redacted]

I told them upfront in the phone conversation that I was not interested in paying any upfront fees or initiation feesAfter wasting half an hour of my time, they asked for my credit card number and said they would bill me $Fraud!!! Be aware
