Mr [redacted] did refinance a vehicle through us and did request to have the cost of an extended service contract (ESC) and GAP insurance policy amortized into his loan with the knowlege that these policies could be cancelled at any time We dropped the ball in not promptly getting back to Mr [redacted] when he inquired as to the cancellation process Tiffany has been terminated for her failure to adhere to company policy Our sales manager Caleb did reach out to Mr [redacted] on February when he bacame aware of the problem The necessary forms needed to cancell the policies were sent to Mr [redacted] the following day The forms were completed and returned to our office on Friday the 16th and they were processed the following week It will take the insurance companies approximatly weeks to process the cancellation and issue a refund check Because the contract premiums were financed the refund check will be sent to the Lender and the proceeds will reduce the principle balance of Mr [redacted] 's loan Please contact me with any questions

We are working with Mr [redacted] to find an alternative lender which will accept him.Tell us why here

Refijet was handling the refinancing of my vehicle loanUnknown to me, they did not payoff the entire amount of my loanA balance of $remained due a payment that Refijet told me to return to BMW Financial as we were finalizing the loanI did this, and informed BMW what was happening with the payment, that the loan would be paid off by RefijetSomehow they did not include this $395, and now BMW has reported me to the credit bureaus, causing my credit score to drop pointsIn spite of repeated messages left at Refijet, I was unable to talk to anyone about this before BMW reported me Now I am told my only recourse is to dispute the credit reportsRefijet made the mistake, yet I am suffering because of it

I used them to refinance my truck and they got me in touch with Hughes FCUWhich I’ll be a member with Hughes for lifeHowever, the loan officer Mike *** was pushy and wouldn’t take no for an answer for Gap Insurance and an extended warranty, even after I told him multiple times I already had itTo get him to drop it I agreed to take Gap InsuranceTwo weeks later I spoke to Patty Cabrera and asked to cancel the gap insuranceWell she sent me the form to cancel it on Aug and I sent it back that dayShe confirm she got it and I would get a refund within 6-weeksWell fast forward nearly months later I still haven’t received itI spoke to her again on 10/and she said she would let me knowI never heard back from herSo I reach out to her againShe tells me the check was sent to my lender on 10/I asked my lender weeks later and the never received itI find out today 11/that they’re going to have to send the check to the lenderThey won’t answer me when I ask them why it wasn’t sent on the first placeSo it wasn’t even sent on the 23rdGuess what Patty escalates it twice, the first one never contacted meThe second one contacts by text, not a phone call but a textGuess who it is, Mike ***He tells me the check has to be sent to the lender even though I’ve told them it’s paid off and I have the payoff statement that every other company wants for proofApparently, that’s not good enough and it has to go to the lender for “proof” just so they can turn right back around and send it back to meI’ll be surprised if it’s even sentTo beat it all, Mike tries telling me “since it’s taking so long, we’re giving you a full refund.” Guess what Mike, it was cancelled within weeks so you were legally obligated tooThe contract says “full refund within days.” He’s supposedly a manager now and acts like he’s doing me a favorAnd this was all by text!
I guess I’ll have to go to the Feds and the CFPB to file a complaint against their company nextWorst company ever

I have been dealing with Refijet for the past monthsI initially refinanced my car which was a nightmare because I was given different quotes and they finally agreed on the lower quote but when they sent the paperwork, they had the higher quote on the paperwork ( I guess expecting me not to read)After securing the loan, I had to do a title change and they told me that I would not have to pay sells tax on the carI asked for something in writing and they could not provide me with anythingI was told to go to the dept of motor vehicles as soon as possibleWhen I get to the dept motor of vehicles, they told me I had to pay sales taxWhen I called Refiget, no one could assist me but the person who processed the title change information and she was not availableI then was told by the Refiget Manager that they sent the check for the sales tax to the Dept of Motor Vehicles, however there was no check at motor vehiclesI had to lose a day of work and sit in the motor vehicles dept for hours because Refijet did not do what they were supposed to I am so frustrated and unsastified with RefijetI will never advise anyone to re-fiance with themI wonder if BMW is aware of how Refijet does business as I re-fianced through BMW

Advertised loan as no origination charge then tacked on a ~15% "finance charge" charge to the loan amountWhen asked, the rep responded that it was the amount of interest paid over the life of the loan, which was an outright lieThe interest paid over the life of the loan was showed next to it as a different valueThe "finance charge" was rolled into the "amount financed"Two problems here: advertising up front and lying about a charge to the customerThey then started texting me from different phone numbers about the issue where prior to that every call / text came from the same phone number - which made it every more disconcerting

I was doing a lease buyout for the 2nd time with ReFi Jet They got me a great rate on terms I was good with I signed all documents, sent everything in, the loan was fulfilled with the credit union However, after a number of weeks they still hadn't sent the payoff to my leaseholder I called them and they said it the buyout was indeed sent to the leaseholder (they lied, it hadn't been paid), and sent me an email stating the same thing A week later a rep called and said the deal was off because the state of MN was taking too long to title vehicles ReFi Jet said their policy is to no longer do deals with the state of MN, AFTER I HAD A SIGNED DEAL WITH THEM I had counted on these guys at their word saying everything was taken care of It wasn't, and when they finally decided to tell me they weren't going to do the buyout and process the title the lease agreement on my vehicle had expired These guys are very very shady and should not be trusted I'm happy to provide the sig

Alan was very helpful with helping me lower my rate and payment

I refinanced my bmw thru Refijet thru BMW Financial and was sold a warranty thru a company called AUL for 5kI never received paperwork or instruction, and was her able to sign up fir online management I requested a BMW extended warrant and was told it wasn’t availableTwo months later, I was informed that bmw was an offer and I requested a cancellation of serviceAgain, I’ve never been able to sign into the account
I was told I could cancel, a check would be sent, overnight, to BMW Financialfor( have been promised a refund for weeks , which hasn’t happened I’ve been lied to on the status of my loan, and I’m listening to the companie’s IVR for the past hour I’ve been lied to by Refijet, and had very little support from BMWI want a refund of my warranty, and the nearly 5k sent to me or bmw financial

These folks are just fine and dandy while they are preparing to sell you their services but if you need to have them take care of something after the sale (like when they took a short cut or just didn't finish the job they were asked to hired to do, you are likely to have problemsAs most other reviewers state, their rates etc are decent but they do business in a lot of states and I am not really sure they even know what each state's process is for processing title changes etc Part of the problem is that they do tend to like to check a lot of boxes in hiring as opposed to hiring people who are actually intelligent and competent and know how to do the jobThis definitely plays a role in their lack of follow through and general low intelligence of the people who work there They re-financed a lease for me and actually paid off the old lease company, paid the sales tax for the state I live in but have not bothered to send any of the original titling documents to the original leaseholder so that they can release the lien and also get the car into my name I think paying another percent or two might be more worthwhile than using these mns I have had to spend numerous hours tracking down people at this crappy organization and nobody answers their phone nor do they return calls Getting my car retitled in a refinance is not my responsibility and I may have to call the lender who I used to express my concerns over their competence stars

I was referred to RefiJet by BMW Financial Services, who my auto loan was with I had a balloon payment on my current loan approaching in about a month and needed to refinance that amount Initially the process moved quickly and I was issued documents within a few days of providing the necessary informationThe process became cumbersome when I was told I couldn't sign my documents until I got on a call with the sales reps manager, who would then walk me through where to sign An inefficient process in 2018, but one I was willing to do I played phone tag with this manager for days We could not line up our schedules which was further complicated by a time zone change! Again, seems crazy in this day in age that I need to have a person tell me where to sign Certainly they could do digital flags on the documents and provide a cover letter that explains where signatures are neededDuring this game of phone tag another payment was made on my loan Now my payoff amount was incorrect and the documents needed to be updated Also, I closed on a house during this time and bundled my home and auto insurance so I had to provide new auto insurance information, which I promptly did It took RefiJet days to issue me new documents I called multiple times during this period to inquire about the delay and got the run around over and over Was told a manager would call me Never happened Finally I was assigned to a new rep who assured me she'd get new documents within hours It took days He excuse was she saved the new documents as "draft" in her system so they never got emailed to meOut of frustration with their lack of communication, I reached out to Open Road Lending, who promptly provided documents and did not require a phone call with a manager to sign! They had a detailed instruction page that I was able to follow, something I would suggest RefiJet consider to help streamline the processThe silver lining to all this, the interest rate with Open Road Lender was 1.5% less than what RefiJet quoted me So in the end I'm glad I went with someone else, but this refinance process was frustrating, unnecessarily lengthy and inefficient I humbly suggest they look at their policy of requiring a phone call with a manager to sign documents Had that not been needed, I would have signed those documents before my next car payment and the change in auto insurance, saving myself a lot of time and frustration, and RefiJet would have had my business The sales reps are friendly enough and they did issue my first set of documents quickly, which is why I am giving them two stars

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I never had title of the vehicleI only ever advised the RefiJet representative that I would "look for it to see if I had it". I was never advised or told that my funds would be withheld until I could first obtain a copy of the title and then send it in. RefiJet's assertion that they advised me they could not "complete my file until the title was received" is 100% accurateI'm not disputing that. However telling a client that your file cannot be completed is NOT THE SAME as holding funds hostage until I was able to go through the lengthy process of getting a copy of the title so that I could send it inIn the meantime while I was working on getting the title I of course as the client was now subject to making auto loan payments for a LOAN THAT WAS NEVER PROVIDED. It eventually was, but after 1-months the damage had been done as I have previously explained in prior emails
Sincerely,

I was looking to refinance my vehicle after only having it a yearI was skeptical as I've never refinance anything beforeI called my current lean holder and they referred me to refijetI called and spoke with Jeff ZenisekHe explained everything in great detailedI advised I would call back, and it turned into two weeks laterHe did not pressure me at allOnce I made up my mind to go through the process totally, it took all of one weekMy rate was even lowered than what he initially quoted me from the beginningI was very happy with the process and the swiftness of it allMy current loan was payed off days after I submitted all documents they requestedVery good experience!!

Worked with Billy B*** to get a refinanceHe said that they have no feesI said in an email to him "Everyone has a fee, it’s just whether or not it rolled into the loan and maybe at a slightly higher rate to cover it, Right?" he replied in an email to me: "Thats not rightThat's the canned answer that those companies give, I used to work for *** (***) and ***, I created a lot of their contentI'm not sure how the powers that be make their money exactly but I think its on a volume basis."
So, I decided to go with Refijet and turned down all the other companies competing for my businessThen when the final docs came in for me to sign, he decided (without asking me) to add a $GAP insurance planAfter researching online what that was, I told him to take it offHe then had his Manager call me (forgot her name) to tell me why I should get itI told her I didn't want itShe then said "Refijet" is "requiring" I get it for them to do the dealWell, anyone who d

Unfortunatly, this is a State of Minesotta issue and was not a result of anything done by the Borrower, the Lender or our companyIt is a well documented fact that the State of Minesotta has some very serious issues with the motor vehical licensing and titleing divisions of their DMV When we
tried to process the documents to transfer the title to the vehicle from the old lender to the new lender we were informed, and later verified via phone call to the DMV as well as national news stories, that the re-titleing could take to months from the date all documentation and fees are received We have only days from the inital contact with the Borrower and for this reason we were unable to consumate the transaction

After processing *** *** new loan it was determined that the title was in his possession Inorder to fund the new loan we needed to get the title It took multiple phone calls, emails and text messages over a day period to get the title sent to us from *** *** Title
was finally received in our office on September 30, and a check was sent to his Lender on the same day Please do not hesitate to contact me with any qyestions
