cat's nickname, which was [redacted] was delivered to our shop by his girlfriend. His girlfriend told us at the time of drop off, that the cat was in the matted condition it showed up in, for over a year. She stated that she had finally convinced [redacted] to have the cat groomed, and get the mats shaved off for the health of the cat. We trimmed his nails and proceeded to shave off a solid 1" thick patch of matting that covered two thirds of his back down his thighs and under his tail. As this cat was approximately 30 pounds this was a lot of shaving. At the time we were attempting to shave around his rectum, the cat became aggressive and managed to remove his muzzle. While trying to finish the groom, the cat tried to bite and scratch the groomer. He became viscous and upset with any approach to his area. For the both the safety of the cat and the groomer we called it quits. Half of [redacted] was shaved at this point, we were done. Our time spent on [redacted]s cat was 1.5 hours. The cost of the cat was $55.00. We called [redacted]'s girlfriend to pick up the cat. She expressed how upset [redacted] would be when we were unable to completely shave his cat. She also stated that he was quoted $250.00 by the Veterinarian and that they recommended the cat to be put under anesthesia. We told her that would be his only option as we saw it, and I gave her $10 back out of sympathy for her situation.
Later that day [redacted] called, he then followed up by other calls and an appearance at our shop demanding his satisfaction. I explained to him the care and grooming that we performed on his neglected cat was well over the amount charged and for him to take the cat to the veterinarian like he should have done in the first place.

I was told by the owner of this company that the cat would be shaved for 55 dollars. They assured me that this was the case and it would be done. Everything else this person is talking about is hear say because those words were never spoken by myself. To top it off, when the cat was being picked up, the employees were taking pictures of the cat and laughing. Very unprofessional.
They only did half of the job. I have pictures to prove the fact. I would like this matter to be resolved by a refund.The pictures are available upon request.
