I don't have too much to say but if you read the customer dispute letter to Chase bank there is a lot of contradiction first of all saying he didn't know about the hole in his headlight till he bought new headlight and he took it to mechanic and the mechanic told him there is hole in the headlight simple question why you go buy new aftermarket headlight instead of buying just new ballast except some one told him to change the headlight to solve the problem permanently I know the customer know the answer of this question.the other thing he wrote on his Chase is sadly funny ." The headlight “ballast” I had bought came with a year warranty, but because it was installed wrong the warranty does not cover it" I don't how some one can install the ballast wrong there is only one way to plug it and any hid ballast must be water resistant except cheap one and we told the customer to buy oem one but he went the cheaper way finally it look like customer short with money he already disputing with credit card company he already got $back and mostly getting more because I didn't respond to any of credit card disputing letters but it look like customer try to get time money back.why here

The consumer came and told us about the problem months after we installed the start systemIf the wires were cut, it would not have taken months for the truck not to start and blow the fuseWe do not owe him a refund, because there were other issues with the truck, and it had nothing to due with the fusesWe would be able to uninstall the start system free of charge if he wishes to contact usHowever, we will not be paying for his mechanical bills regarding this matter

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

Response to Customer complaint that his ballast gone bad because of installation is completely the reason his ballast gone bad because order the cheap non brand ballast from Ebay and we told him before he order it to order oem one or he will have same problem and is not easy to swap the
ballast on lexus is it minimum take couple hour , and his claim that we make a hole on each headlight is not true we installed at the same way the previous ballast installed.and strange thing customer disputed the charge with credit card companies couple month ago claiming that he bought a ballast from us but we didn't installed it and know he claiming that he brought us a ballast but installation was wrong;

I am rejecting this response because it's a brand new truck I got it with miles, had the truck for months and nothing ever happend to it, there was nothing wrong with it, until I installed the dvd and the push to start..then that when the problem happenedwhen I called him, he said it wasnt the push to start, so I took his word for it and took it to the toyota tacoma shopand the problem they found was from wires hanging and not connected right so there for I contacted him so he can pay for itthe proove I got it in paper from the toyota from what they fixed...so my last offer its fixed the push to start how it was supposed to be scince they dont want to pay back from that, and give me $from your mechanical problem and we call it at that, if not im just going to process my investigation with a lawsuit until I get an answer from you're mistake because this is not fair to a costumer who trusted you, until the job was done Also if the problem was from the toyota they would of fixed it at no charge because I have warranty with themit was the problem from wires they installed and my warranty does not cover anything that was done by anyone else besides the ToyotaI also have pictures and written diagnostic tests ran at the toyota to prove that this was not a manufacturer problem but a problem caused by the person who installed the DVD and push to start system

On Feb 28,1st Financial Bank gave me a credit back of $that was charged by Arden Audio because Arden Audio did not response back to the dispute after I submitted it

The complaint is resolved with the customer . Thankyou

I don't have too much to say but if you read the customer dispute  letter to Chase bank there is a lot of contradiction first of all saying he didn't know about the hole in his headlight till he bought new headlight and he took it to mechanic and the mechanic told  him there is hole in the headlight simple question why you go buy new aftermarket headlight instead of buying just new ballast except  some one told him to change the headlight to solve the problem permanently  i know the customer know the answer of this question.the other thing he wrote on his Chase is sadly funny ." The headlight “ballast” I had bought came with a 1 year warranty, but because it was installed wrong the warranty does not cover it" i don't how some one can install the ballast wrong there is only one way to plug it and any hid ballast must be water resistant except cheap one and we told the customer to buy oem one but he went the cheaper way finally it look like customer short with money he already disputing with credit card company he already got $75 back and mostly getting more because I didn't respond to any of credit card disputing letters but it look like customer try to get 2 time money back.why here...

Response to complaint #[redacted]The Customer wife Called Arden Audio Couple Month after the installation of alarm and remote start alarm in toyota tacoma she say they went to eat inside the Denny's Restaurant after they finish they come to truck and try to start truck the Onstar is on and they cannot start the truck I asked her if she can lock and unlock the car using the after market remote she say yes I ask her same question couple time if she can lock and unlock using after Market remote she say Yes  i told her if she can unlock the car using after market alarm the alarm is not problem call a mechanic , after couple days husband call he say he took it to toyota repair and They told him that alarm was the reason I told him if alarm is arming and disarming how the alarm can be reason he say alarm was not working I told him but  when his wife call she say alarm was working this misinformation from her led to this if she told me right information it was simple fix with pushing couple of button because after market alarm have Feature of Kill Switch it disable the engine from start to protect the car from stealing if alarm activated.   customer say the toyota repair shop he took the Truck they told him  1 fuse blow and he bring me the picture of cut wires of alarm and wire tape together opened I don't know why they cut all this wires instead of just unpluging the alarm which mean alarm need to be re installed which is like couple hour of job . over offer to customer we will re install the alarm and remote start free of charge.[redacted]Arden Audio[redacted]

The consumer came and told us about the problem 2 months after we installed the start system. If the wires were cut, it would not have taken 2 months for the truck not to start and blow the fuse. We do not owe him a refund, because there were other issues with the truck, and it had nothing to due...

with the fuses. We would be able to uninstall the start system free of charge if he wishes to contact us. However, we will not be paying for his mechanical bills regarding this matter.

I am rejecting this response because: On 10/17/16, when an Arden Audio employee opened my headlight in front of me and water had came out, it was pretty obvious that something is wrong... Obviously having water inside headlight is not normal, so I decide that something is wrong and ordered new headlights after that. How can it be that I never had this issue before after so many times washing my car and having it wet, then all of a sudden after Arden Audio installed the new ballasts the following rainy day it goes bad. And if the holes been there then why was I not told about it in the 1st place..? Because last time I checked, anyone that performs work on a car and something doesn't look right, the owner is notified so why was I not notified if that was supposedly the case..? And yes I told Chase that warranty wont cover it, I did not contact the manufacture yet but in most cases improper installation does not cover warranty on any parts, and I believe its improper installation because I honestly believe those holes were made, reason is because I never had a issue like that before, I was never notified about it, and the only reason why I found out because another mechanic that knew how to install the new headlights told me about it or else I would have never known. And the only reason why I got my money back for the $75 dispute I put on was because I filed a complaint through here, and stated if those holes been there why was I charged extra for opening something unnecessary when there was access to the ballast through the holes supposedly. Because the holes were not there so I was charged $75 to open the headlight lens to access the headlight ballast, but after I filed this claim they decide to return the $75 back to me.

I am rejecting this response because: The Headlight Ballast did not go bad because it was a cheap brand. If you look at the attachment called "Pictures of Headlight Damage" on my previous email, you will see corrosion inside the ballast where the wire leads out of the headlight, this was due to the rainy day and water getting inside of the headlight leading to the bottom to the ballast. Arden Audio said they didn't have the ballast so told me to look online, I was never mentioned that I will have the same problem as he just stated in his email. Arden Audio is claiming that the holes on each headlight been there, if so, why was I never told about this while my car was with them. if that was the case I should have been told about it and should have been brought to my attention. 2nd if he's actually wants to lie about that then I would love to hear the reason/excuse why I was charged extra $75 to have the headlights lens removed. if the holes on the headlight were already there then there should have been no need to charge me extra $75 to remove both headlights lens. Because seems like they just connected the ballast on the bottom of the headlights and lead the wire out to the connection through the holes. Assume if the holes were there, so now was I ripped off for paying extra $75 to have my headlights lens removed..? On my previous email there is a attachment called "Arden Audio Headlight Lens Removal" that shows the extra charge. So theirs some type of fraud that they did, either made those holes to create a short cut for themselves or charged me extra $75 for unnecessary reason, I believe they made the holes, I never had water in my headlights before so how can it happen all of a sudden after they worked on it. Before giving my car to Arden Audio I had washed my car plenty of times but never had that issue. Now to Arden Audio claiming that I have told my Credit Card companies that I bought the Ballasts from Arden Audio but didn't have them install it, that's another lie. Yes I filed a dispute through my credit cards but the dispute did not say what Arden Audio Stated. I have attached the letters I have sent to my Credit Card companies for the dispute. The Dispute I filed with the credit cards was for Improper Installation and damaging my headlights. And each Dispute has got all receipts for everything, for work performed on car, ballast order online, new headlight order, headlight installation, etc. Fill free to give Chase and 1st Financial Bank a call to confirm what I faxed over to them.
