Review: I hired Reflections on woods June 2013 to install hardwood floors in my lower level of my home. Approx 4-6 weeks my floors in my quest room and laudry room started lifting approx 2 feet high. I notified Owner [redacted] immediately. He came out to assess the situation told me it's from the humidity instructed me to put the dehumidifier on top of my washer machine and connect it using a [redacted] cord/tube so it can run continously which I did. He told me to contact him the first week in OCT and he will come out and fix the floor. From oct 2013 to dec 2013 I called Reflections and left a message no return call, DEC 2013 I sent a cerified letter still no called. I was advice to give him another call and file a small claims. Jan 2014 I called [redacted] (owner)and left a message he returned my called and asked me "who's paying for the repair [redacted] you or me". I replied "you I did nothing to cause the floor to rise approx 2 feet from the floor" He stated i'm not paying.I paid Reflections on wood in full 4-6 weeks later my floors shouldnt lift approx 2feet high.This lead me to file an online complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like my floors repair appropiately in a timely manner its been over six months and this isn't acceptable no consumer should have to bear this.

After assessing the hardwood floors I noticed that her dehumidifier that was sitting on her floor was constantly leaking water. I noticed a crack in her dehumidifier holding tank so I advised her to put the dehumidifier on a shelf above the washing machine to automatically drain in the pipe that was there. She took my advice but it was AFTER the water had already damaged the floor. I took pictures of the dehumidifier and also ran a moisture meter in several areas showing the floor was soaking wet. Reflections on Wood will repair the floor but at the homeowners expense as this is the homeowners dehumidifier that leaked onto her floor.
