Regal Hair Design Reviews (4)

I'm an independent interior designer that performed thorough research when selecting Blackmon Mooring before recommending their water damage restoration and remodeling of a client's 3rd floor office and bedroom space as well as mold remediation of their entire home's HVAC systemThey came highly recommended by Revdex.com and [redacted] and have been around for years, so I felt confident that they would be the right choiceThis could not be further from the truthHere is a list of the major issues ensued: 1.The initial bid / estimation did not include all items needed to perform the remodel, leading my client to have to spend additional money thoroughout to complete the project2.The client had a leak in the roof that was repeatedly debated by BM, but never confirmed with a true cause or sourceBM ultimately had issues getting a roofer out in a timely manner to analyze the leak and prepare a solution and bid to my client3.The two separate subcontractors that were sent out to paint and install new carpet handled my clients' personal things like trash and left many items damaged, including personal valuable artwork, etcMore specifically, the freshly painted walls and baseboards were left highly damaged during the carpet installation with bangs, dings and chips throughoutNot to mention that the workers providing the work appeared and behaved like vagrants while on the project, causing my clients to feel uncomfortable and unsafe while in their own home! Some of their behaviors include smoking in front of my client's home and leaving her restroom in a dirty, filthy mess4.The install of the 3rd floor carpet stairs was the worst experience, in which BM's workers hot glued the carpet down to the metal utility stairsNo one contacted me as directed with install specification questions, and they harassed my client with questions thoroughout the day and damaged her surrounding existing walls that they shouldn't have touched in the 1st placeWe quickly contacted and met with the construction manager and project manager who dismissed our concerns and would not admit any fault even after witnessing the abuse of property and poorly executed work performed by their installersThey were very rude and defensiveThey both placed blame on me for the carpet selection and end result and did not apologize for their subcontractors' poor executionThey reluctantly offered to redo the carpet stairs and also have their painters return to touch up, but refused to paint a tiny closet in the 3rd floor office space, in which they forgot to include on the bid in the first place, so my clients had had enough and said we would find new contractors to clean up this mess and cease all contact with BMIn the end, we happily thought the mold remediation part went okay, but then my client later found out that there was an entire moldy large attic area that was entirely missed by BM, so she had to pay a second mold remediation company to come out to take care of itThis entire remodel and remediation process started in 12/and is just now complete 5/because we had to hire new painters, carpet installers and mold remediation professionals, not to mention pay double what the project should have cost in the first placeMy client even had to discard a mattress and purchase a new mattress because the items were not able to be repaired [redacted] *** and [redacted] Not to mention that my long, positive, trusting relationship with my client is permanently damaged because of my professional recommendation of BMI urge anyone and everyone to STAY CLEAR of this company! The kicker is about a week ago the project manager had the nerve to send my client an additional bill for $2500! She owes them absolutely nothingThey owe her for the pain and suffering witnessed throughout this process and should reimburse her for money spent on a new mattress as well as secondary companies to repair BM's mistakesI'm completely humiliated as a high end design professional and disgusted by the unprofessional attitude of BM's management of this poorly executed projectI give them Stars, but this website forces you to select at least 1!

I have emailed several times with no response to *** *** *** the following services was done to my house
1:Tree removed from house
2: Cut up tree was then put in other lot without anything load in Blackmon Mooring Contracted trucks(NO Haul off was done)
A Fee of $was charged for haul off that wasn't done
I've emailed several times to get someone out just to be fair and nothing has been doneSo I guess the only way to get this taken care of is to file a claim and so I don't have a lien against the house because of something that wasn't done but charged forWe will pay for the removing of the tree from the house but nothing was removed from the propertyI don't like having to go about it this away but I have no other options at this point
Work was done back in April 27-of
