Chose this company to install gutter guards after reviewing their website. Liked the idea they were family owned and operated for a long time. Salesman came out and we decided to go with their company. Was Never told they were use sub contractors, but that's who showed up. After their subscontractors told me "you're pissing me off" when I questioned their not doing the work I had a signed contractor for, I called Dave. He came out and witnessed the mess they left and swept my sidewalk. Told me someone would call me back about my complaint. Also told me he would have someone "Jimmy" come out and inspect the work. It's been a week and I've left several messages and he has not called me back. Called their office today to speak to an owner and was told "Dave" was the only owner. Website states it's family owned by the Mullian Brothers. The person answering the phone said Dave owns it and that the company had been sold at some point. Very upset that we were lead astray. Very unprofessional.

We contracted with Regal Home Improvement to add a screened porch onto our home at ***, in September 2016. They began our project in November 2016, and said that they would send a large crew to complete the project in one week. We have had numerous set backs, and changes in the workers, calls to the Regal President ***, and involvement of the *** Building Inspector Office. The work has lagged, and in March 2017, *** arrived at our home to review the punch list of remaining work. *** stated that he would have a crew complete the remaining work the next week. We are at the end of June, and the only "work" done, was to have someone remove the outside light, with electrical wires exposed to the rain, which is a potential safety hazard.

We want our work completed as promised, and where applicable, by licensed workers.

We want nothing from this company, only to prevent anyone from enduring what we have. Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor. We were promised a two and a half week completion period with nine experienced men working on a screen porch addition. We got two men and two college interns who only showed up periodically when we could run them down. The project took three and one half months to an unsatisfactory finish. Communication was almost impossible. We never could get a commitment for them to show up and therefore were basically prisoners in our home waiting for them. From the very beginning they used the wrong concrete aggregate which we reluctantly accepted. The first and any subsequent complaint was met with the owner and the superintendent angrily shouting us down. Metal stanchions in the concrete were misplaced and had to be removed by drilling. They were unconcerned about gaps in the fit on the ceiling and complained about inexpensive trim to cover them. When raw wood showed through the paint, they did not want to add another coat. The roof crickets had to be rebuilt and shingles replaced when the roof leaked after completion. The electrician would not come back to fix a ground fault he created and another had to be brought in. The Screen Eze system was not installed according to manufacturer specifications and had to be redone, after many failed attempts. We were told that they had extensive experience with this product, but one of the workman said they had never used it before. Rather than redo it correctly, they said a fix would work. In frustration we said we would allow them to try subject to our satisfaction; that has proven to be an unsightly failure over the winter, which they now refuse to fix. The screen door opening was not sized correctly and a cheap last minute door was installed. The screen door will not close and they refuse to replace it with one that will not swell. One attempt to fix the problem was done with a knife blade.The quarter round trim has cracked and caulk joints have failed. They said they would only replace the quarter round, not the other issues. Their warranty states that work will be completed in a reasonable workman like manner. I think it reasonable to expect a product be installed as directed by the manufacturer. It is very reasonable to expect a door to fit and close. It is reasonable to expect materials designed for the application to be used. These last items were submitted to them again under warranty. It took 30 days for them to have someone come out to review them and then only after a number of emails and calls. The only thing they agree to fix is the quarter round.
