Beware of Furniture Warehouse and their "Buy One Get One Free" recliners. They sold me recliners as buy one get one free, then as I am leaving store, after paying for the recliners, they tell me that they are not buy one get one free.
Here is what happened: I went into Furniture Warehouse, was greeted by a Salesman. I told him I was looking for recliners and he took me to them, telling me which section of recliners were buy one, get one free and which section was not. I was interested in the buy one, get one free recliners. I picked out a recliner, told the salesman that was what I wanted. He got the information from the tag on the chair, wrote up the paperwork showing that I would be getting two recliners for the price of one which was $399. I had to sign the paperwork with one of the stipulations on the paperwork being that there were no refunds. The salesman took me up front, handed the paperwork to a man behind the desk who proceeded to ring up the sale. I paid for the chairs, including delivery charges, was told the two chairs would be delivered on Monday (this was on a Saturday) and I then exited the building. As I was getting into my car, the salesman came outside and told me that his boss said that those recliners were not buy one get one free. I went back inside and the "boss" was the man who had actually transacted the sale with me. He said the salesman had made a mistake in telling me those recliners were buy one get one free. I told him that he had already sold me the recliners, that they were paid for. He told me that he was not going to sell me those chairs, that he was going to refund my money. I was understandably upset. He applied a refund to my card but I feel that I was completely mislead. This company advertises that they sell recliners where you buy one get one free. The salesman tells me which recliners are buy one get one free, writes up the paperwork, the "boss" then does the transaction, I pay for the recliners and then as I leave, they tell me those recliners are not buy one get one free. These are misleading and disingenuous business practices.
I would suggest to anyone looking to buy furniture, to find an honest business from which to buy furniture and to stay away from Furniture Warehouse.
