RCI timeshares are a scam and any good that comes from owning a timeshare with them is sadly diminished by their fine print and horrid customer serviceI inherited this timeshare as a result of the death of both my parentsOver a year later, I am still fighting with RCI regarding the transfer because they are just an "acompany"It has long been changed with the county and home resortThe customer service (which is non-existent) reps are absolutely rude and have no information that is helpfulI am continually put on hold and on a merry-go-round of transfersThe supervisors are even more rude and no help eitherI asked to speak to the supervisor's supervisor and after politely arguing with him for minutes and being told he does not have a supervisor, he took a message for this non-existent supervisor and said they will return a call to me within hours, but within no time rangeI have not heard from this supervisor and it has been almost a weekThe main issue with the other complaints aside is hidden fees and no contactIt is almost impossible to get someone on the phone who has a direct answer to your questions or concernsI was told that I had paid all of the current fees ($500+) and that once they had all of my paperwork from the county and what I mailed to them (you cannot fax anything to them, although they do have a public fax number) and that I would be contactedI called to folland the woman acted as if she had no idea what I was speaking of and told me someone would follwith meAlso, no one there including the numerous supervisors have any idea (what they told me) that both of the former account holders are deceased, which is where this whole process is coming fromI have been going in a giant circle with them for over a year now and when I think I am done, they tell me there is an additional "$processing fee"I had never been previously made aware of this fee and when I expressed my anger and concern to the supervisor and asked how this fee was waived and where exactly it was derived from I was given rude feedback and told that there was no way to waive the fee, no one would waive the fee for me and that it is not their job to correspond with me I was to get in touch with RCI myselfHe did tell me that "an email was sent to the address on file as a courtesy regarding the processing fee" but that it was sent to my father's (deceased) email and that my information was never updated to the account, again they were unaware that anyone was deceasedIt is all a bunch of ridiculous lies coming from RCI and there is no customer service as far as I am concernedI will be dissolving my account with RCI and it's affiliates once this is finally taken care of on their end and I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone elseThere is a reason they are not Revdex.com accredited

RCI timeshares are a scam and any good that comes from owning a timeshare with them is sadly diminished by their fine print and horrid customer service. I inherited this timeshare as a result of the death of both my parents. Over a year later, I am still fighting with RCI regarding the transfer because they are just an "add-on company". It has long been changed with the county and home resort. The customer service (which is non-existent) reps are absolutely rude and have no information that is helpful. I am continually put on hold and on a merry-go-round of transfers. The supervisors are even more rude and no help either. I asked to speak to the supervisor's supervisor and after politely arguing with him for 20 minutes and being told he does not have a supervisor, he took a message for this non-existent supervisor and said they will return a call to me within 48 hours, but within no time range. I have not heard from this supervisor and it has been almost a week. The main issue with the other complaints aside is hidden fees and no contact. It is almost impossible to get someone on the phone who has a direct answer to your questions or concerns. I was told that I had paid all of the current fees ($500+) and that once they had all of my paperwork from the county and what I mailed to them (you cannot fax anything to them, although they do have a public fax number) and that I would be contacted. I called to follow-up and the woman acted as if she had no idea what I was speaking of and told me someone would follow-up with me. Also, no one there including the numerous supervisors have any idea (what they told me) that both of the former account holders are deceased, which is where this whole process is coming from. I have been going in a giant circle with them for over a year now and when I think I am done, they tell me there is an additional "$98 processing fee". I had never been previously made aware of this fee and when I expressed my anger and concern to the supervisor and asked how this fee was waived and where exactly it was derived from I was given rude feedback and told that there was no way to waive the fee, no one would waive the fee for me and that it is not their job to correspond with me I was to get in touch with RCI myself. He did tell me that "an email was sent to the address on file as a courtesy regarding the processing fee" but that it was sent to my father's (deceased) email and that my information was never updated to the account, again they were unaware that anyone was deceased. It is all a bunch of ridiculous lies coming from RCI and there is no customer service as far as I am concerned. I will be dissolving my account with RCI and it's affiliates once this is finally taken care of on their end and I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone else. There is a reason they are not Revdex.com accredited.

RCI really is a fraudulant company. They dishonestly calculate and double charge reservation points. When you call to get the discrepency resolved, they tell you proff of the transactions are kept behind the scenes and you don't have a prayer at getting the issues resolved. I guess their system or representatives can't calculate 1st grade math.
