Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/11/10) */
This complaint was so poorly written and hard to follow, it is nearly impossible to respond to. It does, however, highlight the rather indirect path this customer took us on.
[redacted] is right. There were two months of discussions, three visits...

(actually it was three visits by me and two visits by my installer) and three bids, all done at the customer's request. We finally had to write quite specifically in the contract that the "customer designed the project".
She designed it (3 time), watched it, and managed it as it unfolded, and at the last 5%, she stated that the price was too high. After making it clear to the customer that the project would be done to her satisfaction and paid in full, she stated that she had decided she was going to pay us some arbitrary lesser amount as she saw fit (as mentioned in her complaint) and threatened to write the Revdex.com if I did not allow this reduction. She also stated that she would be unable to pay me this lesser amount upon completion, due to the fact that she needed a second signature within the Condominium Association. Knowing the first check she wrote (25% down payment) did not have a second signature on it, I questioned the customer's willingness to fulfill this contract. After a great deal of effort, I was able to eventually contact the head of the Condominium Association ([redacted]). I explained to [redacted] the details of the project and the circumstances as they unfolded. She assured me I would be paid immediately and in full. After finishing the last 5% that day, we received a check for the remaining 75%. Although [redacted] was unwilling to confirm or deny whether [redacted] had broken the rules of the Condominium Association, the check had two signatures on it. The financial management within this condominium Association appears to be somewhat haphazard, but my assumption is that [redacted] should have never attempted to: design, contract, oversee and eventually write checks for, work done at the condominium complex.
