I was already a guest at Regency InnI went in on my last night booked to ask for a plastic forkI was asked by [redacted] (hotel clerk) if I wanted to stay another nightI responded that I would not know the answer to the question until the next day as I was waiting to hear from my contractorShe asked that I stop in early the next morning and confirm any additional nights' stayI went in the next morning at AM and asked for two additional nights, which I paid cash forI would have had no way of knowing that they already charged by credit/debit card for nights I HAD NOT requested at that point in timeThey accepted my cash payment without informing me the nights were already paid for, and indeed never told me until I tried to book additional nights on line, and my debit card was declinedThe reason it was declined was because of actions taken by Regency, and ones not endorsed by meThe refund for the cash payment did get credited back to my account; however the two additional charges for the overage are directly the responsibility of Regency Inn fraudulent charging of by debit card without official notification that additional nights would be needed They are misstating the factsIt does not surprise me as [redacted] the manager was abusive and threatening

I was already a guest at Regency Inn. I went in on my last night booked to ask for a plastic fork. I was asked by [redacted] (hotel clerk) if I wanted to stay another night. I responded that I would not know the answer to the question until the next day as I was waiting to hear from my contractor. She asked that I stop in early the next morning and confirm any additional nights' stay. I went in the next morning at 8 AM and asked for two additional nights, which I paid cash for. I would have had no way of knowing that they already charged by credit/debit card for nights I HAD NOT requested at that point in time. They accepted my cash payment without informing me the nights were already paid for, and indeed never told me until I tried to book additional nights on line, and my debit card was declined. The reason it was declined was because of actions taken by Regency, and ones not endorsed by me. The refund for the cash payment did get credited back to my account; however the two additional charges for the overage are directly the responsibility of Regency Inn fraudulent charging of by debit card without official notification that additional nights would be needed.
They are misstating the facts. It does not surprise me as [redacted] the manager was abusive and threatening.

Review: So after this huge winter storm the hotel has done little to nothing make a clear and safe path in and out of the hotel. The sidewalks are covered in ice and snow and I slipped this morning 1/25/16 & have seriously hurt my lower back. When I asked to speak to the owner, whom lives on the premise, he refused to speak to me. My husband missed work this morning, leaving us $100 short for the week because of a lack of preparation or clean up after the storm.Desired Settlement: I currently have a $50.00 balance on my account and that is going to be very hard to pay because my husband missed work today. I would like that balanced to be 0.00 & when I get my bills from the hospital the hotel should be accountable considering it was the hotel's lack of clean up that led to me falling in the first place.
