Region 2000 Polaris Adventure Center, Inc. Reviews (1)

Review: I brought my Polaris Sportsman 400 HD 2010 model in for repair initially in October 2015, the business had the ATV for 3-5 weeks. The repair at that time was a float in the carburetor. I road the AVT for approximately 45 minutes in the woods and it broke down. Because of the location I had no way to get my Polaris from the woods. It remained for 5 weeks. During that time, mice made a nest and ate the wiring. I finally got some friends to help be push the Polaris from the woods. I took the ATV apart myself carefully placing the pieces in zip lock bags and a cup. The battery was dead at this time. The battery was under 2 years old. (this ATV had never been in the shop or broken down until the first time I took it to Region 2000). I put the battery on a trickle charger and continued to remove the front end of the plastic frame. I placed all the parts I removed in a zip lock bag and a clear plastic cup. At this time, I could see the wiring and where the mice ate through the cables. I chose to leave the front plastic and sides off the ATV to take to Region 2000 Polaris. This is the same items they would need removed to fix the problems. After 7.5 weeks of Region 2000 Polaris having my ATV, after a 3 week promise date, I get the Polaris home only to find two pieces missing from the Polaris. Additionally when Mike Hilbish was asked where an itemized list of the repairs were on the bill he go very defensive. He said it came in all torn apart and acted like it was thrown in pieces and parts without care and simply tossed to him. I went over everything I did to the ATV with Mike and another man while carefully giving him the parts. I also asked that some of the parts be replaced with new ones like I purchased 7.5 weeks earlier. He wrote down notes on a ticket about what I was telling him. I noticed when I picked up the ATV it was a completely different ticket with the notes , "new battery, wiring" I was charged 3 hours of labor and a new battery. Nothing said about the fact that my old battery was less than two years old. Additionally, When I took the ATV apart, the front ONLY, I cleaned the black plastic and the red plastic. When I got the ATV home I noticed it sat outside with water marks on the once clean black plastic and bird droppings on it. Additionally, the straw that's breaking my back and causing this note is that they left two pieces that I have noticed so far off the ATV. After calling rather angry today the mechanic tells me he's an honest man and to bring back the ATV for him to go over. He never received the parts from me. He's implying that I'm lying when Mike Hilbish is the one who took the ATV and all the parts. Then Mike Hilbish is trying to say that he never got the parts. It's now down to a he said she said, and a man who changes work tickets, won't itemize work completed, and does not do what he says. He's done a really poor job on my 4 wheeler. It's still not fixed from the problem I was having in October which caused it to sit in the woods and get mice. All Mike Hilbish wants to do is pass me off to his mechanic. Why a job that supposedly only took 3 hours to fix took 7.5 weeks is beyond me. I do feel it's has an element of discrimination because I'm a woman who is not using my ATV to hunt. This all started at the beginning of hunting in VA.Desired Settlement: Credit me the work and send me the parts Region 2000 lost. The Wire, (Front Cab

[redacted]) and the part that screws around the fuel gauge to keep the cover for the fuel tank on.

They have had my ATV for 12.5 weeks repairing the float in October which was bad. Not repairing anything else with the machine causing it to end up in the woods after only 45 minutes of use only to be infested with mice eating the wiring. Additionally keeping any monies owed from having replaced a battery at or under 2 years new.
