We appreciate the opportunity to respond to [redacted]s complaint regarding her payment/transaction. Upon receipt of the complaint, it was forwarded to Yolonda N[redacted], Administrative Assistant I, for review and response. Ms. N[redacted] is responding to the complaint on behalf of...

Regional Acceptance Corporation ("Regional"), an affiliate of BB&T. The following is the result of lhal review. A review into Ms. [redacted]ccount has been conducted, specifically the payment made February 13, 2017. $3, l 08.30 was paid in two transactions of $2,000.00 and $1,308.30 via a credit or debit card. This was the total amount due at that time to include past due payments and balances as well as late charges due. The attached payment history will reflect the postedtransactions. In Ms. [redacted] inquiry that day, she wished to pay the total amount due, upon review of the posting the payment was not applied correctly per her wish. Regional is willing to correct the posting or this transaction but need to make Ms. [redacted] fully aware that in doing so her account will no longer be contractually current and actually past due for part of' May 2017, $144.85 as well as June and July 2017 installments as well as two late fee's in the amount of' $52.60, a total amount of $1,249.59 past due and upon the August installment due date of the 18th $1,775.56. This will occur as upon posting in February incorrectly J.is. [redacted]ccount was paid contractually through March 2017. Ms. [redacted] have paid three full installments since February and a partial month's payment in May. Regional apologizes for this mistake, however before any corrections are made, we fully want Ms. [redacted] to understand that at the present time her account is contractually current and due for August 2017 in the $1783 .06. Ms.[redacted] request that February payment pay the total amount due on the account at that time will have paid her account through January 2017. Since she has paid three and a partialpayment, when seven payments including August 2017 have been billed, therefore if' correct, her account will be past due for three and a partial' s months payment and progressing toward 60 days past due. Ad for the concern citing Regional associates are rude, antagonistic and difficult lo speak with.Regional has reviewed calls related to Ms. [redacted]ccount and no rec6rded calls have been made on the account since her complaint and recordings are only retained for a period of time.Regional apologizes for the experience Ms. [redacted] have had in the pas and strives to ensure each customer experience is exceptional in the future.

'i'he following is the result of that review.Regional has researched Mr. [redacted] complaint and determined that the Letter of Guarantee was mailed to Mr. [redacted] Insurance Company on May 12. 2016. The Insurance check has already been recci\ed and was posted to Mr. [redacted] account on May 17. 2016.
