In August [redacted] purchased [redacted] tires for the rear of his [redacted] M At the same time he also purchased the road hazard warranty for the two tires In May he brought the car in with uneven tread wear on the rear tires and wanted to put a claim in under the road hazard warranty Our manager explained to him that the tire wear was due to the wheels being out of alignment and since this was an issue with the vehicle’s suspension and not a road hazard issue (i.epot hole, nail puncture etc) the road hazard warranty would not pertain He accepted that fact and purchased two new [redacted] P [redacted] to replace the rear tires along with another road hazard warranty but declined to get the car aligned in spite of our manager’s warning that the tire will be destroyed again. On June 17, he came in to our location and wanted to get a new tire on the front of his [redacted] under the road hazard warranty because the tire had a bubble The only problem was the front tires were [redacted] (this vehicle has different sizes on the front and back) that he did not purchase from us Our manager calmly explained that the road hazard warranty only pertained to the rear tires that he purchased from us in MayAt that point he became very irate and demanded to speak to the owner Our manager brought him to my office and left him to discuss the situation with me At that time I was not aware that his issue was with the [redacted] tire in the front, however he insisted that the tire he purchased from us was the bad tire Due to his automotive background I believed that he was correct and I said that I would take care of the tire if he did indeed buy it from us He insisted that he did, so I asked him to leave the car and we would take care of itRight after he left I examined his vehicle and it was immediately obvious that he was NOT correct and that he did NOT purchase the [redacted] tire from Tire Corral and therefore there was no warranty on the [redacted] tire He only purchased sets of [redacted] for the rear of the car from Tire Corral. When I called to explain the situation, he immediately starting verbally abusing me and would not accept the facts of the matter and accused us of falsifying the paperwork Soon after, he and his father came into our showroom where they proceeded to verbally abuse our employees and physically damage our property They then both came into our main office where his father physically pushed our year old secretary out of the way, almost knocking her to the ground, to get into my office The two of them then proceeded to verbally abuse me and would not listen to reason He then took the keys and left but not without further threats from his fatherDue to their violent nature of their behavior we made the police aware of the situation and a report was filed We have a number of witnesses that will attest to their behaviorPlease be aware that we would not do something as serious as getting the police involved unless we felt seriously threatened and certainly not because we did not want to honor a road hazard claimPlease note that when we sell a road hazard warranty we no longer have control of the claim The road hazards are honored by a national company and it does not cost us anything, including labor, to process the claim The road hazard company covers all costs, so again, there would be no benefit for us deny the claim However we cannot file a claim for a tire that was not warranted, that would be dishonorable.Thank you, [redacted] ***Vice President

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
As I states beforeThey falsified my receipt so of course they won't honor the warrantyAnd I also have witnesses as to what happenedI am not wrong here and that is the only reason I am pursusing this matterOtherwise I would never have even started a complaintWhen I pay for something I expect to get what I paid forI don't expect to be lied to and taken advantage ofAnd the businesses witnesses are the employees so I wonder what they will say and whose side they will take on this? So those witnesses are irrelevantI had a couple friends with me who also witnessed the whole situation and can attest to my statements being true
Regards,
*** ***

I stand by my previous statement and have documentation and witnesses to prove everything that I have previously stated. Mr*** did not purchase the *** tire on the front of his vehicle that had the bubble from Tire Corral So therefore, although we would like to help him, the warranty company will not honor the claim. As far as Tire Corral is concerned this matter is closed

In August 2014 [redacted] purchased 2 [redacted] tires for the rear of his [redacted] M5.  At the same time he also purchased the road hazard warranty for the two tires.  In May 2015 he brought the car in with uneven tread wear on the rear tires and wanted to put a claim in under the road...

hazard warranty.  Our manager explained to him that the tire wear was due to the wheels being out of alignment and since this was an issue with the vehicle’s suspension and not a road hazard issue (i.e. pot hole, nail puncture etc) the road hazard warranty would not pertain.  He accepted that fact and purchased two new[redacted] to replace the rear tires along with another road hazard warranty but declined to get the car aligned in spite of our manager’s warning that the tire will be destroyed again. On June 17, 2015 he came in to our location and wanted to get a new tire on the front of his [redacted] under the road hazard warranty because the tire had a bubble.   The only problem was the front tires were[redacted] (this vehicle has different sizes on the front and back) that he did not purchase from us.  Our manager calmly explained that the road hazard warranty only pertained to the rear tires that he purchased from us in May. At that point he became very irate and demanded to speak to the owner.   Our manager brought him to my office and left him to discuss the situation with me.   At that time I was not aware that his issue was with the [redacted] tire in the front, however he insisted that the tire he purchased from us was the bad tire.  Due to his automotive background I believed that he was correct and I said that I would take care of the tire if he did indeed buy it from us.  He insisted that he did, so I asked him to leave the car and we would take care of it. Right after he left I examined his vehicle and it was immediately obvious that he was NOT correct and that he did NOT purchase the [redacted] tire from Tire Corral and therefore there was no warranty on the [redacted] tire.  He only purchased 2 sets of 2 [redacted] for the rear of the car from Tire Corral. When I called to explain the situation, he immediately starting verbally abusing me and would not accept the facts of the matter and accused us of falsifying the paperwork.  Soon after, he and his father came into our showroom where they proceeded to verbally abuse our employees and physically damage our property.  They then both came into our main office where his father physically pushed our 75 year old secretary out of the way, almost knocking her to the ground, to get into my office.  The two of them then proceeded to verbally abuse me and would not listen to reason.  He then took the keys and left but not without further threats from his father. Due to their violent nature of their behavior we made the police aware of the situation and a report was filed.  We have a number of witnesses that will attest to their behavior. Please be aware that we would not do something as serious as getting the police involved unless we felt seriously threatened and certainly not because we did not want to honor a road hazard claim. Please note that when we sell a road hazard warranty we no longer have control of the claim.  The road hazards are honored by a national company and it does not cost us anything, including labor, to process the claim.  The road hazard company covers all costs, so again, there would be no benefit for us deny the claim.  However we cannot file a claim for a tire that was not warranted, that would be dishonorable.Thank you,[redacted]Vice President
