with badcredit buy their furniture, like this customer. The only company, [redacted], that qualified this customer, offers a 90-Day Buyout Plan or a 1year term contract with high interest for customers they considerhigh-risk. The finance company decides the payments and the interestrate, and that is something we cannot control or change. We do notmake any extra money by offering our customers this finance option, other than helping them purchase their furniture. This customer'scontract was never submitted because she did not sign and we havealready deleted her application.I have been in business for over 30 years and take customer servicevery seriously. We do not scam our customers and do our best to helpthem buy the furniture they want. If you are concerned about thefinancing, which is what this complaint is about, please contact [redacted] at [redacted] and they can confirm what we have explained.Thank you.----------------------------------------Vivian's Quality FurnitureTel: [redacted]Fax: [redacted]
To whom it may concern: This letter is in response to this customer complaint. On 11/25/15 customer picked up her pub table and 6 barstools. Her initial pick-up date was 11/28/15 but customer called in asking if she could pick up the pub set earlier for Thanksgiving. We set up the barstools for...
the customer free of charge per prior agreement. She inspected the barstools before signing our invoice which states that merchandise was received in "good order". She never returned to the store that day and did not contact us for a month. On 12/23/15 customer called in demanding we exchange two new barstools for her after a month of use. I informed her that manufacturer warranty applies to defective parts only and that if she brought the chairs in, we could change out the parts she was claiming were defective. She refused to bring in her barstools, saying that she wanted 2 new chairs. After this phone call, customer never returned to the store to drop off her barstools and did not contact us again. Since then, the customer has filed 2 separate complaints with the finance company she used to purchase her furniture, both of which have been denied (on 12/28/15 and 1/2/2016) due to unfounded allegations. Per store policy, we are not held responsible for any damage after the customer has received, inspected and signed for their merchandise. While we guarantee manufacturer warranty if the merchandise is defective due to manufacturing fault, we are not held liable for normal wear-and-tear or damages the customer caused. However, because we pride ourselves on our great customer service, we have since contacted the customer ourselves and given her two new barstools. This complaint was resolved between the store and the customer on 1/16/16.
