[redacted] Dear [redacted]Please see the attached email thread, as well as the one I sent earlier today (in response to one I had received from...

Regus, which is embedded in this email below). Regus states that it is going to seek approval from a higher authority within Regus to apply my security deposit of 2 months rent to my last 2 months rent.  They do not seem willing to go through Revdex.com.  If they can do apply the security deposit to the last 2 months rent and close out the bill, which seems to be a reasonable request to me, I'll let you know.Thank you.[redacted]
RE: ID [redacted]
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention and for the opportunity to serve our mutual customer. We are very sorry to hear [redacted] recent experience fell short of her expectations. Upon review we would like to honor [redacted] request to apply her retainer to the last two months of the agreed terms to close out the account. In lieu of refunding the January monthly fee, we would like to waive the exit fees associated with our mutual agreement. These exit fees include cleaning, painting and restoring the office at $180.00 and 3-months of call and mail forwarding for $747.00, totaling $927.00 in savings.
Please let us know if this resolution is acceptable to our mutual customer. We are sorry to [redacted] go and wish her all of the best and success in her future business endeavors.
Sincerely,
Diancee S[redacted]
Head of Customer Service, NA

RE: ID

Thank you
for forwarding the letter from Ms. Dancee S[redacted] of Regus’ Customer
Service.  Please let me inform Ms. S[redacted]
that Regus Willow Oaks II had already notified me that my office was in great
shape when I left it.  I assure you, and
I’m sure staff located in Willow Oaks II can assure Ms. S[redacted], that the office
does not need painting or other restoration (or even cleaning, other than
routine housekeeping). That assumes that
Regus Willow Oaks did not allow a Regus tenant from another facility to use the
suite after I’d vacated it – Regus routinely places Regus tenants from one
facility in other Regus facilities when those tenants travel.  In terms of call and mail forwarding, no
calls to me had ever been received by Regus, and I had also asked Regus to
discard any mail (which I believe amounted to a single magazine) that arrived
after I left in December. Again, Ms.
S[redacted] can confirm this with the Willow Oaks II staff.
If Regus can
demonstrate that I indeed would owe it $927 for such services that it specifies,
and that its waiving those fees amount to a “savings” for me, I am amenable to
what it has proposed, which is that it will apply the retainer to the last two
months of the agreed to term, despite my having not been able to occupy the
office not only in January, but most of October through December, and not occupying
it at all in February and March.
It appears
to me that Regus is using charges, which it can impose with no transparency, to
extract additional fees when its tenants complete the term of their
agreements.  This is the very reason that
I did not pay the last two months of rent (February and March 2015) – it was
not so much the fact that I had vacated the suite and Regus already held the
monies for those two months, but the fear that I would pay for those last
months of rent, and that Regus would then manufacture additional charges and would
not ultimately apply the retainer retroactively to the last two months
of rent.  Regus’ letter confirms that
this is what it had indeed intended.
Thank you.
