Review: REHABCO was contracted with my health insurance carrier, [redacted] back in March 2013 for a custom manual wheelchair. At that time a representative came to my home to take measurements for the wheelchair and advised me it would take 6 months to receive the chair. I supplied them with the prescription and the letter of justification from my doctor and never heard anything for 3 months. After numerous emails and phone calls which went unanswered to [redacted], I was advised I need yet ANOTHER prescription which I supplied to them. Still not hearing from them I called and spoke to [redacted] the supervisor their who advised me there was an insurance mix up which he was trying to resolve. This was back in October 2013. I promptly called my insurance carrier [redacted] from whom I learned from [redacted], that the chair was approved by them in August and that I should've had the wheelchair already. I have [redacted] and depend on a [redacted] for independence. It is outrageous how this company treats its customers with complete disregard and lack of compassion. Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my much needed wheelchair

We have attempted to speak to someone at the Revdex.com for the last 5 days however no one answers the phone therefore we have left over 7 messages without a reply as of this date.
Under Federal HIPAA guidelines we are unable to discuss any patient’s medical records or treatment which includes physician prescribed wheelchairs because it falls into the category of PHI(Protected Health Information). We are unable to respond at this time because we would be violating federal law without a valid release from the patient.
Please rest assured that as soon as we have a valid release we will be very willing to respond to any patient’s comments and gladly provide assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
