In regards to this issue, we have already responded to the customer complaint when he contacted us last through a review, and tried to reach a fair and reasonable settlement to no avail. As said in our previous response, we contacted the homeowner and offered to repaint the entire south side of the houseUpon our arrival to repaint said wall, the homeowner became agitated, requested to look at our financial records in regards to his home, and demanded we leave the premises immediately as he realized we would not be repainting the entire houseBy the homeowners own admission, we use premium materials, and prepped the home in accordance with the contract, and he personally observed on multiple occasions the application of suchThe homeowner is either misinformed or in error to the fact that pressure has nothing to do with paint densityThe orifice of the tip is what impacts the paint thickness, and the industry standard is a 5-spray tip, which is what was used, applying the paint at roughly millimeters in thickness (also considered standard for the siding the home possesses,) which is why the caulking remains slightly visibleThe [redacted] representative was contacted for verification, and did not validate his claimThe painter mentioned by the customer in his complaint is a biased source by nature as a competitor of the business owner, or a family member or friend of the customer. As to the “lack of integrity,” and “inadequacy and incompetence,” the customer suggests, he did not have an issue for years, and now seeks a $1,refund on a $2,jobThe lack of integrity clearly is with the customer in this case, and as such we as a company cannot appease someone so unwilling to acknowledge the points clearly made on our repeated previous attempts

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First and foremost, I truly feel sorry for you How you can twist some of the stated facts to your benefit – and then not even address some of the stated facts because you cannot think of a way to twist them to your benefitIn your responses to “Message from Business”: I have no clue to whom you are referring to when you use “our” and “we” in your responses You were the only one that showed up for the painting of my house If you remember, you told me that you had just fired two employees and that you would be the only one doing the painting I also specifically remember how slowly you were moving on day three of painting my house – and complaining about how tired you were without any help I don’t think a customer really cares to hear that comment from a contractor of any kind that is making at least $a day for a contracting job At no time did I request that the entire house was to be repainted I only became agitated (as you put it) – when you became uptight and defensive at any issue that was brought to your attention concerning the painting of my house Even when I shared the comments made by the Sherwin-Williams paint representative on your work you became defensive You even stated, “the Sherwin-Williams paint representative says whatever he has to to please someone.” So, I guess this can be said to be the same for you, too – when you stated in your response that the Sherwin-Williams paint representative did not validate my claim What you are saying here is – I can’t use what the Sherwin-Williams paint representative said to me, but you can use what he said to you? Just an example of one of the ways you will (attempt to) twist a fact for your benefit Pretty sure in the real world you can’t have it both ways And, the reason I asked you to leave was because there was no reasoning with you and your defensive attitude from the minute you showed up at my house Upon your arrival and not “we” as you stated – as you were the only one that showed up to repaint Just wondering what you were going to use for tools and paint? Since there was no power washer, no paint sprayer, no ladder, and “no paint” in the “open bed” of your truckProbably should be noted here, too – that I did not ask for “your financial records in regards to my home” when you showed up at my house You might want to go and check your emails from November 10, I simply asked in the email sent to you for a copy of the invoice for the additional paint (a second purchase) that you bought for my house The “fact” is – there is no invoice for the additional paint that you told the Sherwin-Williams store manager that you purchased Because the store manager and the paint representative both told me there is no record of a second purchase for paint by you in regards to my house Either the store manager and paint representative are not telling the truth – or you simply lied to the store manager about a second purchase and you do not have an invoice to send me And, if this is the case Then tell me – how can I or anyone believe any one thing you have said in response to my review and complaint? Just another example of one of the ways you will (attempt to) twist a fact for your benefit You are really reaching about the independent painter that I mentioned, too Referring to him as a family member or friend Don’t you think if this was the case – I would have had him paint my house to begin with? Just another example of one of the ways you will (attempt to) twist a fact for your benefit And, that you stated I did not have an issue for two years Read your own contractThe contract states a three-year warranty.Using your own words – “as a company cannot appease someone so unwilling .” As a customer with a three-year warranty – then: (1) show me the invoice for the additional paint that you told the store manager that you purchased at another Sherwin-Williams store, (2) if you applied two coats – how do explain patches of my house with no new paint applied and the overlapping? In closing, and previously stated, “Either the store manager and paint representative are not telling the truth – or you simply lied to the store manager about a second purchase and you do not have an invoice to send me And, if this is the case Then tell me – how can I or anyone believe any one thing you have said in response to my review and complaint?” Show me an invoice as stated in point (1) above and I’ll assume the answer to point (2) would be a poorly done paint job due to a tired one-man crew Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:May 21, 2018 First and foremost, I truly feel sorry for you.  How you can twist some of the stated facts to
your benefit – and then not even address some of the stated facts because you
cannot think of a way to twist them to your benefit.  In your responses to “Message from Business”:   I have no clue to whom you are referring to
when you use “our” and “we” in your responses.  You were the only one that showed up for the
painting of my house.  If you remember, you told
me that you had just fired two employees and that you would be  the only one doing
the painting.  I also specifically
remember how slowly you were moving on day
three of painting my house – and complaining about how tired you were without any
help.  I don’t think a customer really
cares to hear that comment from a contractor
of any kind that is making at least $500 a day for a contracting job. At no time did I request that the entire
house was to be repainted.I only became agitated (as you put it) – when you became
uptight and defensive at any issue that was
brought to your attention concerning the painting of my house.  Even when I shared the
comments made by the Sherwin-Williams paint representative on your work you became
defensive.  You even stated, “the Sherwin-Williams
paint representative says whatever he has to to
please someone.”  So, I guess this can be
said to be the same for you, too – when you
stated in your response that the Sherwin-Williams paint
representative did not validate my claim.
What you are saying here is – I can’t use
what the Sherwin-Williams paint representative said to me, but you can use what he said
to you?  Just an example of one of the
ways you will (attempt to)  twist a fact for
your benefit.  Pretty sure in the real
world you can’t have it both ways. And, the reason I
asked you to leave was because there was no reasoning with you and your defensive
attitude from the minute you showed up at my house.Upon your arrival and not “we” as you stated – as you were
the only one that showed up to
repaint.  Just wondering what you were
going to use for tools and paint?  Since there was no power
washer, no paint sprayer, no ladder, and “no paint” in the “open bed” of your
truck.  Probably should be noted here, too – that I did not ask for
“your financial records in regards to my
home” when you showed up at my house.
You might want to go and check your emails
from November 10, 2017.  I simply asked
in the email sent to you for a copy of the
invoice for the additional paint (a second purchase) that you bought for my house.  The “fact” is – there is no invoice for the
additional paint that you told the
Sherwin-Williams store manager that you purchased.  Because the store manager and the paint
representative both told me there is no record of a second purchase for paint by you in
regards to my house.  Either the store
manager and paint representative are not telling
the truth – or you simply lied to the store manager about a second purchase and you
do not have an invoice to send me.  And,
if this is the case.  Then tell me – how can I or
anyone believe any one thing you have said in response to my review and complaint?  Just another example of one
of the ways you will (attempt to) twist a fact for
your benefit.  You are really reaching about the independent painter that I
mentioned, too.  Referring to him as a family member or friend.  Don’t you think if this was the case – I
would have had him
paint my house to begin with?  Just
another example of one of the ways you will (attempt to) twist a fact for
your benefit.    And, that you stated I did not have an issue for two
years.  Read your own contract. The contract
states a three-year warranty.Using your own words – “. . . as a company cannot appease
someone so unwilling . . .” As a customer with
a three-year warranty – then:show me the invoice for the additional paint that you told the store manager that you
purchased at another Sherwin-Williams store,if you applied two coats – how do explain patches of my
house with no new paint applied and
the overlapping? In closing, and previously stated,    “Either the store
manager and paint representative are not telling the truth – or you simply lied to the
store manager about a second purchase and you do not have an invoice to send
me.  And, if this       is the case.  Then tell me – how can I or anyone believe any one
thing you have said in response to my review and complaint?”Show me an invoice as stated in point (1) above and I’ll
assume the answer to point (2) would be a poorly done paint job due to a tired one-man
crew.  Sincerely,[redacted]
