The warranty states "Complete tear offs include a year Labor Warranty. Lifetime installations include years of labor coverage. The BEST warranty in Syracuse!" Whatever may or may not be covered under the warranty is not even an issue yet because I cannot get in touch with
REID. That's the first issue that needs to be resolved

To Whom it may concern,we advised Mr. [redacted] at the time the roof was inspected that it needed to be removed and a new system installed because the building had to many layers on it and the top layer was in our opinion not repairable. We provided Mr. [redacted] a proposal for the removal of all old...

roofing materials and installation of a new roof system which would be guaranteed for 10 years, the date that was provided was 7-24-15. Mr. [redacted] called us around 10-1-15 and stated he could not do the roof replacement but wanted us to com and try to repair what was there to get him a year or two. We then provided Mr. [redacted] a proposal to try and repair the system but under no circumstances could we guarantee that the repair would work. Mr. [redacted] then approved the repairs with the condition we could not guarantee the roof system. 4-6 weeks latter Mr. [redacted] called and said it was leaking so we sent a crew out and tried to do more repairs (at not cost to him). Months later he called and said it was still leaking and we informed him that we could not do anything other than replace the system as we had recommended previously.If Mr. [redacted] wishes to do the replacement we can put him in front of the line and get it done within 15 days weather permitting. As far as our commitment to Mr. [redacted] for the repair work, I feel that we have made a fair effort. Other than that we consider the matter addressed. Thank you and have a nice day. I will agree to come back one more time and attempt to repair the roof. This will be the last time and we (Reid Roofing and Mr. [redacted]) will consider the matter resolved. We advise you once again that the roof system needs to be replaced and this follow up visit has NO GUARANTEE. I am rejecting this response because: It was agreed between Reid Roofing & I , that the roof would not leak for at least one year at the price of $5200. Roof started leakind after one month and they still did not fix the leak propperly. My concern is that aftre spending such a huge amount , the leak is still there like before the repair. What kind of business policy is this ? they must stand by the work they performed.
