In response to complaint#***, all our records, on paper, show that we sold Ms*** the bike for $1,545.05, plus all the options, fees, taxes and registration, which was a total of $2,As I asked in the previous response to have Ms*** bring the bike in and we can evaluate the scooter and we can come up with a price and we'll purchase it from herAgain for the record we can show her all the papers from when we purchased the bike and when we sold it to herWe have all the documents for you and her for review if you'd like to see themOur gross profit was $345.05, as we itemized in the last responseI am out of town 3-days out of the week and I would like to resolve this matter as soon as possibleThe best days to reach me are Monday or FridayThank you, Joe Reina, Reina International Auto

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I also have paperwork, carbon copy paperwork, as a matter of fact.  And the amounts listed on my version of the paperwork do not match what the business owner is telling us.  Mr. Reina continues to say he sold me the scooter for $1545.05 plus fees.  That is not accurate. My carbon copy, as outlined in my previous response, does not support what the business has claimed:  +Used Price: $1995.00+ Ladybug helmet: $99.95HCI helmet: no chargeDelivery: no charge+Service fees: $75.00-Discount: $275Total subject to tax:  $1894.95 (sub total)Then we add... +state tax: $94.75+county tax: $9.48+local stadium tax: $1.88+non-taxable fees MV11: $112.00Total I paid = $2113.06.So the used price of the scooter on my carbon copy shows $1995.00.  Even if the $275 discount (line c. on carbon copy receipt) is applied to that, the cost would still be $1720.00. And even that amount is about a thousand bucks more than what a seven year old used Kymco scooter is worth (see evidence provided in my previous response). I am not asking for a refund of the costs associated with registration fees, taxes, helmet, and whatever MV11 is.  I believe a respectable business would agree to give me back the $1720.00 which reflects the scooter price that I paid. (Once again, that is the listed "Used Price" 1995.00 minus the "Discount" $275.00).   Now, Mr. Reina's offer to me was to "bring the bike in and we can evaluate the scooter and we can come up with a price and we'll purchase it from her."  This ambiguous offer is not an acceptable solution. Mr. Reina has shown me over and over again that he is not trustworthy or honorable and I have valid concerns that he would not "offer" a fair amount.  If he would guarantee to give me a minimum of $1545.05, which is the amount he says the scooter is worth, I would begrudgingly agree and we could consider this matter resolved.  I would even agree to $1495.05 if he would agree to pick the scooter up. I will attempt to attach pictures of my carbon copy; I only use a mobile device so a scanned document isn't an option. Regards,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. If Mr. Reina stood by his products and/or services, he would allow me to return the lemon piece of scrap metal that he sold to me. I've made multiple such requests both by email and phone messages over the period of a year.  I don't recall hanging up on him but if I was listening to more lies from his mouth, then I probably did. The times that Mr. Reina has left me voicemails are later in the evenings; I am early to bed so calls at those times are not convenient for me. I have never received an email response as he indicated. Mr. Reina's "offer" to buy the scooter from me after inspecting it is not only insulting, it is laughable. He is quite well aware of how this scooter runs. This "offer" is just further evidence of the point I've made. This man lied to me, he overcharged for a piece of junk that BARELY has run since I purchased it, and the fact that he would not allow for a return is a testiment not only to shady business practice, but also to the person he is.  A reputable dealership has looked at the scooter and said it is a brand very well known for its faulty carburetors and poor running condition; they won't take it, not even as a trade in. Additionally, they advised that if I tried to sell it myself I wouldn't even be able to ask $700 for it.  Mind you, I paid Mr. Reina $2100.  I dont think my request to return this for this for a refund, minus fees, is unreasonable.  Thank tou, [redacted]All I wanted, all I am asking, is to be allowed to return an unsatisfactory product to the seller. Minus any fees. I think that is an EXTREMELY reasonable way to resolve this.

To Whom This May Concern:I ,[redacted] ,of Reina International Auto Vespa Milwaukee, am replying to complaint ID #[redacted] regarding [redacted]'s complaint on the purchase of a 2010 Kymco Sento 50. I'm sorry to hear how Ms. [redacted] feels about her experience at our dealership and of me...

personally. We have been in business for over 35 years and most of our clientele has been repeat customers and referrals. Furthermore, on a personal note I would never take advantage of a single-parent since I, myself , was a single parent for over 10 years with sole custody of my daughter, while building this business with my two brothers. Our business continues to be family owned and operated and we all know the importance of our word and reputation. The Kymco Sentos were in production from 2009 through 2012, new they sold for $2,400.00 including prep and destination. Currently we are the only Kymco dealer in this area. This particular scooter is special because of its weight, height, and size which differs from all other scooters currently on the market. Ms.[redacted] came in and she looked at our scooter inventory and after a test drive she decided this was the scooter that best worked for her. We worked out the price and we sold the bike for a total price of $2113.06, this included the scooter, two helmets priced at $99.95 each, Wisconsin service fee at $75, $160.11 in sales tax, and $112.00 for the tile, registration and plate fee, and delivery of the scooter from Brookfield to Cedarburg for $75.00, essentially we sold the scooter to her for $1545.05. We purchased the scooter for $1000.00.Anytime we get a pre-owned  scooter we do an inspection, recondition, and a detailing of the scooter, we spend over $200 in this process. Our profit on this vehicle gross is $345.05. Regardless of the profit we stand behind each our products. Please note: scooters, if they are not ridden within 3 to 4 weeks the battery goes dead and you need to recharge the battery. When Ms.[redacted] called and she had problems we sent one of our technicians to her house (at no charge) and the battery was dead. We picked up the scooter from her house in Cedarburg got it running and delivered it back to her house all at no charge. In regards to Ms. [redacted]'s phone call in September 2016, I am usually out of the office Tuesday through Thursday for auctions, if I wasn't here, someone usually tries to resolve the issue and call the person back. I did not hear from Ms. [redacted] until March 2017 , she called because the bike was not running. We explained to Ms. [redacted] that this bike had to be plugged into a battery tender to keep the battery charged if it is not being ridden. We went to go pick up the bike from her house and the bike had been sitting for months. The scooter needed a new battery at the same time, I told her that we're going to install a battery tender to keep the battery charged and the total charges with pick up and delivery was over $200 and I offered to charge for only $100.00 which she agreed to and paid. After this she sent me some unkind emails. I tried to call her several times, once she hung up on me, other times I called and emailed she did  not answer nor return any of my phone calls or email. Then I sent her a second email addressing this matter and wanting to resolve it but never heard back from her. If you need any documents I have the purchase contract, a copy of the check with which we purchased the scooter, and the emails. I would like to work with the Revdex.com and Ms.[redacted] to resolve this matter. If Ms. [redacted] would like to sell us back the scooter, she can make an appointment with us and after inspecting the scooter we can make an offer to purchase it.Thank you, [redacted]
