Review: This company shows a lot of incomplete apartments. After a week I found an apartment that I liked and I applied for it. I put down a deposit for the brokers fee and a 50.00 credit check fee. They made me wait 3 weeks for a decision to see if I was approved or not (they said the normal wait was 5-7 business days) They didn't return calls as promised and when I finally got a decision it was denied based on my credit. So the broker ([redacted]) showed me another apartment based off my qualifications. I told him I was interested and he told me I had to pay another 50.00 credit check fee and wait another week for a decision. I was not interested after that and went to the company for my deposit back and they agreed. When I asked for a copy of my credit report they said no and posted a sign for [redacted].. When I contacted that company, they said my name was never used in their company for a credit report. When I called Reinoso Realty back they told me I have to call [redacted] (the apartment company I applied for) and the woman I spoke to at [redacted] ([redacted]) said that the broker company wasn't supposed to give me their number and I have to get my report from Reinoso Realty. This company (Reinoso Realty) is holding back my credit report and giving me the run around which is completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I want a copy of my credit report which I am entitled to and I want an apology for my time being wasted. I would also like my 50.00 credit check fee back because I don't know what company they used and the company they advertised using ([redacted].) says that credit checks are free.
