Reisdorf oil guarantees automatic refills of propane, I have been a customer for 2 years and have had to call each time several times when our tank was dangerously low to remind them to fill. Each time I called I was told "There is a ticket out for your delivery", and had to call to keep reminding them as days went on with no refill. On 2/23/20 I called because I smelled a propane leak, the woman on the phone said she would have a service tech call me back. After 30 minutes of not receiving a phone call I called back and the woman again stated she would have someone contact me. After 20 minutes a man called and had me check a few things, I asked if he was going to come to the house to do his assessment and he stated that they don't do that. That night I ran out of propane which is never supposed to happen. I called the office the next morning and asked to speak to the Supervisor, Kirk Reisdorf (owner) got on the phone and stated that I had cancelled service on 11-20 which is false. I stated I had never cancelled service and he continued to repeat himself interrupting me stating "yes you did". I stated I have no propane and demand something to be done about it; as this is and error on the company's side and Kirk stated he will do nothing about and it's not his problem because I am not a customer. I told him that the way he is peaking to me is unprofessional and he stated "But I haven't sworn at you". On the website it states that the company has grown due to customer satisfaction and it is evident that is not true. I asked how could a customer call reporting a gas leak and reporting running out of propane and the owner is not concerned or taking initiative to fix the problem and Kirk stated "Because you aren't my customer so I don't care". At this point I have no propane and never received any answers where the leak was coming from and the issue was reported to the owner and he responded immaturely and unprofessionally.
Reisdorf Oil and Propane has been in business since 1953. We have thousands of customersand until Ms. began her barrage of ill feelings for us on social media we had a total of 3bad reviews. Ms. is the most malicious person we have ever had to deal with. As shestated in her own review 3 months ago she was not happy with our policy of filling a tank whenthey hit 20%. On November 30th she stated her intentions to change suppliers. Since she hadpropane in her tank we did the mature thing to let her use her inventory. We indicated in ourcomputer that she was switching companies and we were not to fill again. Out of nowhere aperson called our office on the evening of Sunday February 23, 2020 and demanded someonecome to her house NOW with propane.The next morning Ms. called back and wanted to know what we were going to do forher, stating she wanted a free tank of propane. The owner of the company was put on thephone and every time he tried to speak she claimed she was being interrupted and he wasgreeted with f-bombs. Since it was already on our records that she was no longer a customerhe stated that our intentions were to satisfy her wishes and pick up the now empty tank. Shenever reported a gas leak and since there was no product left in her tank she is not entitled to arefund.Later that day she called back and demanded we pick up our tank today and make sure wedon't mark up the lawn. She mentioned more than once that she was good at writing reviewsand suddenly we had over 20 negative *** reviews from people we never did business withand had no history of doing business. Once again she threatened to contact the better businessbureau. My personal feeling is we should contact an attorney and sue her and all the fakenames for libel and defamation of character. The owner of the company said not to pursue it atthis time. In our 63 year in business I don't recall ever having to answer a complaint from theRevdex.com. Anthony P Sales and Operations Manager
