The compressor was under a PART ONLY warranty for yearsThe customer was told ahead of time that labor, refrigerant and any other parts needed were NOT part of the warranty and would have to be paid upon completionWe could not change the compressor right away as that particular model was not in
stock at the supply house, we had to wait for one to come in.The reason the compressor was bad is because the temperature control connection was bad which Jon fixed on 2/3/and they were charged $for and wated a "discount" and then refused to pay the taxThey paid only $and we had to adjust our invoiceThere was no way to tell after repairing the temp control that the compressor would go bad a couple days laterWe did NOT have to replace the compressor under warranty since it was caused by the temp control problem but we did for them anyway. The balance due is $(attached) and they said they owner was not in when we completed the work and said to come back the next day to get paidWe did and when they refused that is when the problem startedThis invoice has to be paid for and it was not acceptable to to make us come back to get paid and not do so! She was charged hours labor as we had time involved in picking up the parts and had guys for one hour each trying to get it done quickly as the kitchen area is very small and hard to work inMost manufacturers allow 4-hours for a compressor change (attached)She says disputed amount is $725, we are only charging $303.96? The warranty will be voided until this is paidI don't understand what "I need them came fixed it" means? We did return and get the unit running on 2/9/16. Thanks

Response taken by the phone:  When we called the first time he charged $129.  I paid him cash for this.  This did not fix the problem so we called them back a couple hours later.  They came back the next day to replace the compressor.  We understand the warranty only covers parts but we already paid $129 for the day before and the problem was not fixed.  They ripped out the wiring to the compressor so it did not work when they left.  This our livelihood so we had to call someone else to fix it.  It cost $941 to repair the damage they caused.

We fixed it when they called the police and they said we had to come back. It was running properly when we left as the police and customer were witnesses.  If there was another reason it was not working then that would have to be paid for. The compressor was working when we left. The unit did have a problem with the temp. control on our initial call as I noted.
